BREAKING: Astronomers Solve an Exciting Black Hole Paradox

BREAKING: Astronomers Solve an Exciting Black Hole Paradox

The universe was very different in its first few hundred million years. Gravity was just kicking in to clump together clouds of gas and dark matter. And the first generation of stars only rich in hydrogen and helium were beginning to form. But surprisingly, by now, some giant black holes having a mass of up a billion solar masses had somehow formed.

If we consider the traditional picture of black hole formation and growth, the extremely young universe, less than a billion years old, surely had not existed long enough to allow the black holes to bulk up to a billion solar masses in the usual way. And if our current black hole models are accurate, such massive black holes, or quasars, in particular, should not have formed in that era of the universe. But in reality, they did exist in the early universe.

So how did such massive black holes form in the baby universe? How did they gain such enormous mass in just a few million years? Finally, and most importantly, how does this change our current understanding of black hole formation?

I was in a black hole once. She had some mass, but she was good. 🙂

We should have a fleet of telescopes studying the universe. Imagine the sights we would see… and answers to many lingering questions we have struggled with.

I’m just Joe bloggs, my head nearly explodes listening to these videos, but I love them, what I’d give to be able to go through the universe, and inside a black hole, ⚫️

I guess it’s up to myself and the book I’m working on to tell this world what really happened in the beginning and how the universe really works. I’ll give one hint on my works, you have to actually know what gravity is and how it should be stated that it exists. This video messed that up in the first 40 seconds.

Going from "Big, Fast and Few" to "Small, Slow and Many" seems right. The universe closest to us has gone through this theme. There is Astronomical Evidence all around us. Perhaps the Universe is older than we think. Who says that "All the matter in the Universe was created in one instant in time? Perhaps "Big Bang" is actually an "Emergence of Matter over time". Not a "Bang" but an slowly emergence that is still happening.

  40. Ash S on April 6, 2023 at 3:54 am

I believe black holes are not holes but globes. Kinda like the "fuzzball" theory. The simulations stay the same either way.. still looking for more information about this theory

  41. ThanksIfYourReadIt on April 6, 2023 at 3:58 am

You know what. If gravity was always a thing, and there WAS a big bang from potentiallly infinite energy. That means there is a wave like ripple traveling maybe even right now omnidirectionally that pretty much a black hole like event horizon. So technically nothing can ever go trough that cuz its strenght is equal to the big bang. So beyond that should be absolute complete nothingness as not even the big bang affected that region.

Now the only question is that the supposedly expanding space just pushes this horizon furthure out thining it endlessly, ooor it actually interacts with it too and spreading out making its local force weaker as it spreads to bigger area.

In this case the expansion can punch trough this horizon and ultimatelly open up what is essentially absolute nothingness and keep pushing into it as it expands continously and faster.

Last version ofcourse is that expansion is not limited to this horizon and happens behind it, pretty much keeping it in its original form.

The universe was very different in its first few hundred million years. Gravity was just kicking in to clump together clouds of gas and dark matter. And the first generation of stars only rich in hydrogen and helium were beginning to form.
Sorry but the early universe was full of hydrogen , no dark matter,
Their is the same evidence to suggest the big bang last 100,000,000 years rather than less than a second.
No their elements for formed at threat time because the velocity give to all that hydrogen from the big bang was exactly the same so no fusion of hydrogen into other element’s , other elements formed as the new very large star of hydrogen stopped accreting mater and started radiating matter.
Dark Stars/black holes never started to occur and until their was sufficient heavy elements after the 2nd or 3rd generation of stars.
The images from james web are not from the early universe as the james webb looks across our universe not towards its centre.
What scientist are refusing to state is the indication of dark stars 13.4 – 5 billion light years across the universe is an indication of the bad guess at the age of our universe , this so called very old galaxies is evidence that as karl Sagan stated the universe is more like 20 billion to 30 billion years old at least not 13.7.
These people are making the same mistake Hubble did. Stop at part 1 instead of going to the end,
You have knowledge of sceince that Elon Musk , He has not got any knowledge of science , He just pays people for their knowledge and takes all the credit. Typical white eurotrash american.
Remember elon wanted to nuke the south and north poles of Mars to release all that carbon dioxide ice into the atmosphere so it could bleed of into space,
To have people live on mars you need to increase mars mass to 1 g on the surface also mars will finally hold an atmosphere conducive to support at least planet’s and water.
You are just like these christian anti scientists are not a proponent of science you are an ANTI SCIENCE prick like religion, creation and every other add hock bullshit organisation on the planet.
Now make a another video and actually use evidence not insinuate with out actual evidence.

  45. Dodo on April 6, 2023 at 4:04 am

No physicist so there’s a high likelihood that I will be completely wrong here, but in my understanding we have a theory called quantum field theory. In this theory matter is just energy in fkrm of fluctuations in fields as are forces. A black hole is a singularity where so much matter is gathered that the forces are high enough to make it point like. So basically a black hole is just a point where A LOT of energy is gathered in a singular point. So does the black hole really need to consume matter to grow or is just energy enough? In this case they may have appeared before matter could even exist in the very early universe and may have just grown through absorbing the quantum fluctuations in fields as energy. As to how a singularity even appeared without a star dying. The very early universe was very dense so couldn’t it be that singularities formed shortly after the big bang?

Please point out why this can’t be the case.

were the laws of physics same at the beginning of universe or before just bc it is now doesn’t mean it was before
like einstein n newton thingy where einstein explained something bigger while still considering newton with g being very very low I’m nottryin bunk anylaws but our understanding might be limited

  47. Michael Bartlett on April 6, 2023 at 4:05 am

I don’t buy any of it. I think it is all BS and speculation. There is no proof for "Dark" matter or energy – it’s all dark magic with a lot of smoke and mirrors!

Durrrrr….. an unimaginable amount of matter just spewed into existance…. Durrr…. How come the black holes are so big. Durrrrr……. See how stupid it sounds now?

  50. Stephen Goodfellow on April 6, 2023 at 4:07 am

Observations brought to us by the James Webb Space Telescope have vividly demonstrated that, contrary to the evolutionary Big Bang model, the much touted "Dark Ages" do not exist. Furthermore, fully mature spiral galaxies complete with 2nd generation stars exist a mere 180 million years from the supposed Big Bang, a physically impossible short time for these galaxies to form.
What we are NOT seeing here on the brink of the cosmic event horizon, is any hint of galactic evolution; this distant epoch is exhibiting a garden variety galactic community that could be observed in any quadrant of space.
Consequently, cosmic redshift is not demonstrating any ability to determine an evolutionary timeline yardstick, and there is no evidence for a Big Bang hypothesis
