The bud in the pic was an awesome example of nice female within ripe week….in my state the legal guys haven’t figured out that the bubble within the bud should have and pistil from it……not a air hole lol. All our legal is super over ripe. I’m bitching to folks I assume are grow savy lol

Big NO, to the water washing. My grow tent is practically sterile, where are your buds getting so much filth, and hair you say? I prefer to keep every trichome head …on the bud, not in the bucket. Do a before and after magnified trichome survey. Prove that technique doesn’t wash off significant amounts of trichomes. And all extra moisture comes with a risk of mold. Show the dirty water, because my plants are insanely clean and pristine. Maybe I’m not dirtying them up enough? lol No thanks,

  4. @CuttingEdge49 on May 21, 2024 at 10:57 am

I did the 5 day dark at 50 degrees. Plants turned an unbelievable purple color. So cool

  5. @bnanas529 on May 21, 2024 at 10:57 am

That humidity was really low I hope he doesn’t often keep it that low

  6. @xXThomas89999Xx on May 21, 2024 at 10:58 am

    Real low humidity no?

  7. @seanregehr4921 on May 21, 2024 at 10:59 am

Because of the wash, you must pay extra attention to humidity levels so you do not ruin your harvest with mold. That would literally be the worst case scenario so close to the end of the cycle.

He got mites no bud washing for me

Rusty nails In the stalks leave for last week of flower it boost resin production like crazy

  10. @shriverfam230 on May 21, 2024 at 11:01 am

I think it’s really cruel to split a plant or screw holes in it but that’s just my personal belief

  11. @chefscorner7063 on May 21, 2024 at 11:04 am

@Photosyntech+ Your finished product certainly looks tasty. I like your stressing techniques probably because I use most of them with great success. I haven’t had the nerve to split the stock yet, but am going to do that to at least 1 plant in either my current or next grow and I’m going to try the 3 days in darkness (couldn’t hurt). As for washing the Buds, I would think you’d have to be extra careful that mold doesn’t get started since they get so saturated with water, but as you said, you just need to keep a close eye on them during this stage by watching the Humidity, Temp of room and Good Air Flow. I see that there are some naysayers in the comment’s on your techniques, but I spent 6 grows (3 years) experimenting with different ways to increase the "Quality" of my finished product, and the stressing methods you share here (the one’s I’ve tried) WORK!! I’ve also tried Bud Back-Building and have had mixed results. It all depends on the growing Technique you’re using for that to work best. i.e. "scrogging" (I think that’s what it’s called, lol) is the best growing Technique for Bud Back-Building as it allows the lower buds more light, making them like little Cola’s (for want of a better term) since they grow up and away from the main stem all the way down to the bend, which seems to help the lower buds get denser and bigger (in my experience). While I’m pretty new to growing (4 years), I’ve done a lot of personal experimentation on everything from germination and feeding to allowing the plant to ripen longer turning the tricombs darker in color, which I my experience gives you a Couch Lock High. It’s was so Couch Lock that I and those I gave some to try for their sleep issues all said the same thing. "It knocks me out and I sleep through the night" much better then my sleep meds did and I don’t wake-up groggy". The other plants with the same genome that I Harvested earlier and had mostly cloudy tricombs had a much more energetic high, so to me it was proof of concept that succeeded. Before I digress any more. Thanks for the info and I’ll be trying the Stock Splitting Method soon… BTW, I do have a Medical Grow License (Gastroparesis, SMA Syndrome, Chronic Pancreatitis, PTSD and Sleep) and Live in a "Legal State". For those with illegal grows, Don’t Fuck it up for those that are doing it "Legally", (Yeah I know about the Fed level B.S.). Beside’s, if you’re in a legal State, it’s much cheaper to buy your own herb then it is to grow it. It’s not like you can sell the extra you grow, unless, you know, You Fuck it up for the rest of us. Even though I turn a bunch of mine into R.S.O. you can still only ingest so much, so quickly until you’re high all the time, which I found out with my 1st harvest. LOL Good thing I’m semi-retired..
NOTICE: Before you comment on my comment, please see that I use the term "In My Expereience" a lot. The reader may not get the same results.. 😉 LOL..

Super helpful. I’ve never heard of budwashing but I hate finding moths n shit in my outdoor buds 😂😂

    UV-B over bro science

  15. @vqfive on May 21, 2024 at 11:11 am

Bud washing should only be needed for out door grows. Indoor or tent growing you wont need to wash your buds. this is my opinion

  16. @Houseofmycology on May 21, 2024 at 11:13 am

What kind of light is that mars hydro how many watt’s each

  17. @mohawksniper79 on May 21, 2024 at 11:13 am

I see alot of people having moldy buds after trying to wash there buds 🤣

  18. @michaelsnyder3292 on May 21, 2024 at 11:14 am

I just want to say I feel conflicted with this maybe works for you wouldn’t work for me only because if you use molasses throughout the budding process it pumps out a s*** ton of trikes and also if you go through all the steps of drilling holes out the only way you’re going to really see the benefit of that is if you wait until the tree fixes itself during that process is when you would see the extra trikes not with fresh wide open holes drilled and then you’re washing them everyone knows soon as you start dunking the branches into those buckets you’re knocking off trichomes

  19. @TeW33zy on May 21, 2024 at 11:14 am

Your a joke using Celsius instead of Fahrenheit

  20. @qtipsters on May 21, 2024 at 11:16 am

Hello, I know you harvest alot and could maybe be able to try or have tried this final technique…. I’ve kept this to myself a friend who passed away young gave me this one and only tip. He said when you go to actually harvest her, instead of cutting it, dunk the root ball up to stem in boiling water, he said the shock to the plant will make it push all its goodies to the edges of the plant… if you catch the meaning..
    What do you think? Possible?

  21. @SNOOPASJ on May 21, 2024 at 11:17 am

What a waste of time effort and hard work washing them buds. That is absolutely mental-health problem. Several people need to sit down with u and have a good chat about your disgraceful behaviour

  22. @wardaldo69 on May 21, 2024 at 11:17 am

Each to their own 🌱👌🌍 However any new growers out there FFS Don’t go by this dudes methods 🌱👀🤣 what a load of unnecessary Bull💩 👌

  23. @SuperSetCity on May 21, 2024 at 11:17 am

😂. Anyone that believes leaving their plants in dark for 24 to 48 hours is it gonna increase the THC I can tell you it doesn’t it takes how many months for those try combs to fill out and get cloudy and you really think that leaving him in dark for two days is going to do anything besides we can them and cause mold that’s total bro science

  24. @marksuva1771 on May 21, 2024 at 11:19 am

I liked your intro. Thanks, it made me smile

  25. @shawnkiesel5349 on May 21, 2024 at 11:20 am

Have you ever looked in the bottom of the bucket after you wash all the branches.? Are there trichromes at the bottom.?

  26. @fenerbahceliyk on May 21, 2024 at 11:20 am

    Ahaha thats trolling 😂

  28. @arridagreat409 on May 21, 2024 at 11:24 am

Do you really smoke in or around your grow???

  29. @cannadongaza5000 on May 21, 2024 at 11:24 am

Holy bro those are beautiful to bad they can’t live long 🤣

  30. @jamese2356 on May 21, 2024 at 11:24 am

If you do the 48+ hours of darkness and the plant produces new trichomes, wont those trichomes be clear in colour at the time of harvest?

  31. @petercsigo3314 on May 21, 2024 at 11:24 am

Another dumb ass who have no respect for the plant.

  32. @seppous on May 21, 2024 at 11:24 am

    Yoooooooo

  33. @whiteowl8703 on May 21, 2024 at 11:26 am

To enhance your growing we are going to stress you a bit. We will deprive you of water for 3 days then we will flood you with water. This will improve your growing ok. FFS

  34. @logantaylor2337 on May 21, 2024 at 11:27 am

Why wash your buds when doing indoor? They shouldn’t be dirty.

  35. @jaredberger1855 on May 21, 2024 at 11:27 am

What happens if I accidentally let my plants get to 34f and 3days dark?

  36. @randomletters1834 on May 21, 2024 at 11:27 am

DONT USE ICE WATER PLEASE!!!!!! Your right the resin is not water soluble however the resin heads fall off in water below 45 degrees Fahrenheit or 7 degrees Celsius, that’s how you make ice water hash. You may not be washing all the trichomes off but I bet you lose a lot of your surface ones, if you wanna do bud washing I support it and would recommend a water temp around 60 degrees f or 15c and anything too high risks losing precious terpenes. THC weather it be in dab/hash oil form or a Trichome still on your bud is extremely sensitive to its surrounding temperatures and reacts immediately to changes. At hotter temperature it’s sticky and oily then as soon as its exposed to freezing temperatures it becomes ice like and shatters easy even underwater. Gorgeous plants though, I bet they have some crazy terps!!!!!

  37. @archimedes1077 on May 21, 2024 at 11:30 am

Idk why I can’t do the bud washing. It just seems wrong to me to dunk them in any solution. If it’s good it shouldn’t need it.b

  38. @TeW33zy on May 21, 2024 at 11:32 am

Your crazy for bud washing. U guys really do to much to these plants, LEAVE THEM TF ALONE.

  39. @greenzgoddess on May 21, 2024 at 11:32 am

The video that is HIGH ON KNOWLEDGE… among other things… lol HAHAHAHA

  40. @SecondComingTwice on May 21, 2024 at 11:33 am

I’ve been gardening for over 30 years and live where outdoor growing can be really successful with the right genetics and cross my own strains for next year’s seeds. Budworms will screw me out of some volume even with the BT but the sun is the original grow-light and it’s free.
Glad to see the edit regarding "Icy cold water" since that could lead to some less than happy viewers and some pretty bunk weed.
Did I miss the part where you mixed your wash-bucket ingredients? I’m going to try two clean water containers and a hydrogen peroxide solution this year and skip the lemon juice/baking soda since I’ve been losing trichomes even with a much gentler wash technique but for sure outdoor grows especially need a little rinsing and no-one wants to smoke the bugs (or eat them as the assholes who think they own the world at the World Economic Forum are planning for us,
Petty buds bro, Hope they dried and cured into some bomb smoke.

Bro u lost me by wetting up your buss

  42. @archimedes1077 on May 21, 2024 at 11:35 am

I feel like someone had to wash their flower once for whatever reason and it didn’t get ruined so now it’s a thing. Idk just not for me.

  43. @tamekachapman2938 on May 21, 2024 at 11:40 am

    lol LOVEEE Ginger

  44. @Black_Reflection on May 21, 2024 at 11:41 am

18 is no longer the smoking age. 21 is and is absolutely a civil rights violation.

  45. @djdimigaming5324 on May 21, 2024 at 11:43 am

I think that’s a little too much stress for a plant in flower.

  46. @user-fs2tr8wo3v on May 21, 2024 at 11:43 am

Hmmm. I’m not an experienced grower, but i have a couple of blue spring cookies growing outdoors. I used sticky stakes and brought plants inside at night. I checked with loop every day multiple times and, one time, found a Caterpillar. Other than that, there are no bugs. But i do notice trichomes that i collect for kief that falls off from trimming. I won’t even consider the bud washing. I can not see the logic in it. Grow in a clean space. I have an ionizer that purifies the air in my dry space.

  47. @XxxXxx-fm3wo on May 21, 2024 at 11:46 am

    Craaaaaaaaaaack 😂

  48. @twohawks7753 on May 21, 2024 at 11:50 am

You’ve got to much nitrogen going on during flower you’ve even burned the tips, ALSO never take the fans or trim before your hang.

  49. @Phil-ld8uv on May 21, 2024 at 11:50 am

25+years of growing Final finish how many years washing buds? looks like fun to me

  50. @thesturdygentleman on May 21, 2024 at 11:51 am

    @photosyntech
wait so washing your buds you won’t lose any trichomes?
Pardon me for being skeptical but
    You’re definitely sure on this?
I’m only asking bc I acknowledge what you have to say and admire your knowledge and want to try this.
