Hey can I ask you a question about Coco? My seedlings always turning yellow and the root development is really poor compared to growing in soil. I’m using only 0.25l pots because I always think it is overwatering, seeds in soil can easily handle 1to2liter pots and don’t show those problems. I tried many different Coco bags like canna/plagron/ugro and I always get yellow seedlings. I gave them very small amounts of water, 10-50ml per day or I did fully saturate the 0.25l pots and wait some days until the pots are light to lift. My room temperature and humidity are in the right range. I also watered the coco daily and kept it saturated all the time, I tried it with nutrient solution and without.. The only way I can bring them back to a nice green color is to increase the ec to 1.0-1.2 for seedlings and then they start to grow. Could this problem be caused from the buffered Coco? Is it not buffered correctly or is the buffer in the coco causing problems for the seedlings? Sorry for the message and my bad English, hope you can give me some tips. I would love to use your Coco but the shipping costs would be too expensive to bring it to my country 😕

Hey I got another question. My last Coco coir I used did break down within a month to a muddy consistency. So I bought a new Coco bag from ugro. The structure is way coarser but I did a runoff test and the water that came out of the coco was brown colored. The ec was 0.3/ppm150. Do you know what that brown runoff is? Should I flush it until it is getting clear? I will use a seedling and test it if it’s getting problems in that Coco coir. ✌️
