We need to have medical marijuana in Texas but damn we don’t want Californians coming, I’ll probably have to flea to California.

If marijuana helps epilepsy then there is a chemical in there that helps. If that is the case it must not be thc because there is an FDA approved medicine Marinol. If that is the case the chemical needs to be identified and could be used to make a medicine. Why go to all the trouble to smoke marijuana when you could take a pill with fewer side effects with all the FDA regulations ensuring quality and safety?

  5. Nicholas Plesko on May 21, 2022 at 7:57 am

I hail from the DFW area where overdoses are high and we need medical marijuana. This would make Texas so much better. Gregg Abbott’s acceptance of big pharmaceutical’s lobbying money over its residents health? That’s not very Christian of him.

If you don’t live in Travis or Bexar county and get pulled over with weed, they will most definitely try to ruin your life.

  23. Coletta Hughes on May 21, 2022 at 8:15 am

These states are extorting money from citizens through fines. Texas busts around 120,000 first offenders every year. Through fines and red tape they collect close to $2000 from each victim. Bust pot heads makes them money, but bust hard drug users risks officers lives and most often cost Texas more money than they get. It’s a cash cow these crooked politicians don’t want to part with.

Its physically impossible to fatally overdose on weed. Consumption of lots of it at once can result in unpleasureable experiences, but not death…

  30. Edgar Heredia on May 21, 2022 at 8:31 am

    Update on this pls

  31. Charles Pwnage on May 21, 2022 at 8:31 am

As a canadian im rooting for you to get it also you cant overdose on weed it doesnt kill. All you can get is a green out. Basically if you have too much you can get too high light when you drink to much but drinking too much is poisonous and can kill you while smoking too much youll be fine in a few hours to a week depending on how much you consumed with no future effects yet weed is the illegal one in most of the statedls and was illegal here for 2 years. They allow you to buy poison that kills younin liquid or stick form but owh no a medical herb that helps you and doesnt kill you… we need to ban that one

  32. Captain Howdy on May 21, 2022 at 8:32 am

  36. TransAm 94 on May 21, 2022 at 8:39 am

The most corrupt people of Texas are in the justice system. I live by the prison, and go to the main Criminal Justice college of Texas near by. They make too much money arresting us. Anyone who has a bad reaction to pot had something laced.

  37. roger edwards on May 21, 2022 at 8:39 am

Funny thing. This may be the issue that eventually dooms conservative politicians in our state. 100,000 people die every year from pharmaceutical drugs in this country, from overdose or adverse effects and yet we don’t hear a peep out of these hypocrites because of lobbying and political donations. Your not fooling anybody. The world will be a better place as soon as these baby boomers are in the grave.

Marijuana also causes lung cancer. Smoke is smoke it doesn’t matter if it is tobacco, wood, tires, marijuana, or magnesium. Even food cooked on a grill is slightly carcinogenic. There is a reason drugs were prohibited. When my great grandmother was young cocaine, heroin, and morphine were sold over the counter. Marijuana was completely legal. They had a whole generation of drug addicts.

  50. Brian Smith on May 21, 2022 at 8:52 am

How the fuck is Joe Rogan gonna legally smoke marijuana but no one else? Rich equals freedom?
