My soil is 7.4 (too alkaline) and still very deficient in potassium (I did the lab test). What can be causing it?

Potassium definitely causes low ph you have it backwards

Soil slurry tested at 5.6~5.7 with a 50/50 of Happy Frog/Ocean Forest. Was kinda surprised, thought it would be better. Our tap is soft <50ppm and about 6.8pH. Will consistent waterings with Tap alone be good? Or shall I add somethin to the top to water thru to increase the pH a bit?

With distilled water adding calcium and magnesium until ec 0,4 i had none problems with carencies or excess of nobile minerals like potassium an phosphorus and overall stable ph in the pot and great quantity of final product.
From when i m using the tap water i had a lot of problem also mixing it with distilled water when is too much hard, and overall less weight in production
I m thinking the bad quality water is at the base of many problems that is possible to have.
I m thinking to go back to use distilled water adding calcium and magnesium

I think this might be what’s affecting my plant. I did a soil test and it appeared by the colour to be at a ph of 5. Idk if the plants gonna pull through to be honest

Considering the stage of grow, how do you go about fixing this?

I dont use peat moss but Tupur- natural and organic soil. So what can I do to correct potassium?

  12. Drew on May 28, 2022 at 10:15 am

Will the plant still produce 🤔

How long does it take for the peat to breakdown and acid up the soil? 3 months? 9 months? over 1year?
