CB Expo 2021 – Cannabis Business Expo, Zurich Switzerland

The CB Expo – Cannabis Business Expo took place from 11-12 September at the StageOne Convention Hall in Zurich. Exhibitors from Switzerland, from surrounding European countries, the USA, South Africa, Australia, and Uruguay presented their products and services, while representatives from universities reported their findings on the latest research regarding plant breeding. Renowned speakers discussed developments and trends in the international cannabis business.

CB Expo was inaugurated by a speech of Ms. Christa Markwalder, a National Councilor member from the Free Democratic Party of Switzerland (FDP). In parliament, Ms. Markwalder has always stood for a liberal and pragmatic approach to the hemp plant, and most recently she has been leading a successful proposal to regulate the cultivation and export of medical cannabis. Representatives of the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health and the Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office also attended the event. Numerous international guests have been participating alongside some of the leaders of large Swiss CBD and cannabis companies.

The next edition of the CB Expo – Cannabis Business Expo, will take place from 10-11. September 2022 in Zurich.
