The frustration is that Dan Patrick will not let a vote go to the floor in the Senate.

Until you re-schedule marijuana on the federal level, this is all useless and only applies to certain people.

I live in Fort Worth and I have a very good friend who’s little brother who was a vet and was suffering from cancer, a really painful type, and he was using cannabis to successfully control his pain and mental condition. It came up last year that marijuana showed up on his blood test so he was told he had to stop using cannabis or loose his his benefits and treatment. So he quite his marijuana therapy and unfortunately shortly after stopping his marijuana use, his pain got so bad he choose to put a 357 in his mouth and end the pain. That was a really tough funeral, thanks Texas!
