Ed, When drilling the hole try using the drill in reverse. It takes a bit longer but leaves a much tidier hole. Great vid. well done

You don’t need a bubbler at all, let alone in every tank. The wave action from the mister is way more than what is needed for oxygenation. The oxygen exchange takes place on the surface of the water, not by bubbling air through the water. Aquariums don’t need a bubbler, just something to cause waves on the surface. Think pond, wind and waves.

Another option might be to introduce the nutrient solution into each tank by dripping it through the top (for example). That would not only oxygenate the water, but distribute the nutrients more evenly (just make sure that the drain system can handle the cumulative flow). However, that is not necessary either. I would simply scrap the bubblers!

The Aerogarden is the best way to grow herbs>>>t.co/XQf2LXinzA  . My wife and I were in search of something small that would allow us to grow herbs year round that doesn’t draw too much power; this is that product.

Nice little garden, but I have a question. If you didn’t want any paint inside your containers, why not paint them BEFORE drilling the holes? It seems like some overspray would get into them.

Better to have a stronger water flow to each container, as they catch the nutrients from the water moving.
Or adding Airstones to each container may help instead of strong water flow.
