It’s a good thing that some progress is being made on this issue of medical marijuana. …However, by the time Alabama officials and legislators get around to
DECRIMINALIZATION and marijuana use in general, many Americans and patriots may not bother to wait for a green light on an issue symbolical of non-legit
authoritarian influences. loss of FREE trade foreign gatekeeping.
…Besides Medical Marijuana use, and its properties, legislators and officials should be thinking of ways to incentivize and allow (farmers) the creation of competitive strains, as to physiological benefits , strengths , concentrations (euphoric, sedative cognitive, spiritual effects and others), strengths, purities (uncontaminated by soil chemicals etc..) and ease of OTC purchasing at ‘down to earth’ prices. … Alabama should embark on distinguishing itself a s one of the great marijuana producers of, and for many uses.
…The market needs to be opened up for, and limited to the local Alabama Farmers and to the expectant consumers, medical patients, self- medicators and
recreational users.
…The only role government should play is to allow / enforce the free and open competition on the level free-market playing field.
Don’t sign up for this. They’ll take your guns over this legislation.
People and lawmakers may seem to forget that the State of Alabama, its counties, cities will be in ‘DeFacto’ competition with each other and other States by
the way they handle this entire marijuana issue. …Now most people ( that I know of) want their marijuana with little or no strings attached, and DECRIMINALIZATION should be one of several prime imperatives regarding its use.
…It can easily be assumed that people are going to gravitate to where they can spend their money freely and where they will not be penalized, fined , jailed , shamed, etc., for exercising their SELF-HEALTH CARE decisions and GOD GIVEN RIGHTS and otherwise (especially older adults, Vietnam era vets and patriots) , whom have much experience with marijuana, and have nothing to lose and everything to gain by living in a State or area that is sensitive to its people’s needs or wants.
Alabama knows all about teamwork; and we see it in many places, especially on the gridiron. …Alabama has a great opportunity to make itself an economic powerhouse in the industry, by believing that "THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT". …Those golden words guided America for many years and kept us on a steady course of growth and economic greatness.
