  2. Google User on May 23, 2022 at 6:32 am

So if I’m growing in soil I just bury the little Rockwool cube in the soil?

  3. DSPANFilm on May 23, 2022 at 6:32 am

Thanks Lex! Super helpful. I’ve cloned a few. But I’m a punk, so I’m grateful for your insight. Smoked my first joint in 1972 — (Minnesota Green) 😂😎

Question should one top a mother plant?

  8. Dave Anderson on May 23, 2022 at 6:40 am

Hey Lex, thanks for the info. What I do not get is the watering. Is the idea to keep the stem/medium wet at all times and the humidity high? Is the grow medium under water or just soaked once?

  9. Jim Gaston on May 23, 2022 at 6:41 am

Aloe Vera and honey are natural rooting hormones

I’m cutting them and then putting them in soil? or waiting for the roots to develop?

Great video! The water that I use to maintain the humidity in the dome should be ph balanced as well or it can just be tap water ?

  20. Ferbzy182 on May 23, 2022 at 6:52 am

If anyone is curious honey works as a cloning gel and it’s natural

  21. Tina Knutsen on May 23, 2022 at 6:53 am

cinnamon (regular baking spice) also works as a natural rooting hormone: just tap off the excess. I’ve used it on inside and outside plants,

  22. Julio C. N. C. on May 23, 2022 at 6:55 am

Man how about cloning a flowering plant? You said it can be done but is more difficult, could you give me some info about it? I understand that the clone will be a little crazy because yestarday was flowering time and today it is vegetative time, but they can handle this?Tks man I appreciate

  23. Peter Raisis on May 23, 2022 at 6:55 am

You really inspired me into cloning. Great video thanks for your help.

  26. Catthulhu 666 420 on May 23, 2022 at 7:00 am

So i Hurd turning a female to hermy will produce female seeds now idk if i believe that however I’d like to know if i can get seeds from a clone that can replace the mother when the time comes or should I just flower the clones and find a make to polonate the mother when it comes time to replace her

  29. BLANK THOUGHTS on May 23, 2022 at 7:07 am

I know this video is old, but fimmed plants will also carry on to a clone and because fimmed plants grow to be very bushy it has a higher success rate

  30. Mario Dantonio on May 23, 2022 at 7:07 am

    Good stuff!

  31. TheChosen One on May 23, 2022 at 7:09 am

i understand that i can clone from a mother plant, but can i take a clone from a cloned plant?

  32. Ogtriple Og on May 23, 2022 at 7:09 am

Why can’t I keep making mothers out of clones

  33. George Jonhson on May 23, 2022 at 7:11 am

I am going to do some cloning soon so these video will be good for me

  34. Jorge Santibanez on May 23, 2022 at 7:11 am

Thank you brother you been you been much help

  35. Field Campos on May 23, 2022 at 7:12 am

Why clone does it yield more green our same .

  36. Charlie Greenwood on May 23, 2022 at 7:13 am

I like to cut my clones like pencils, it’s easier and gives loads of surface area

  37. Jeraziah on May 23, 2022 at 7:15 am

Could anyone give me reasons why my clones die after i transplant to them to soil, 6-10 days, good roots, angled cut, root powder. humidity dome with verm during rooting session. i seem to do everything right to get the roots, but then they generally die once i transplant them. im not sure why. usings roots organic as soil.

Im assuming its the 650w metal halide bulb i have in the growroom, i generally put them further in the room but im not sure how much that helps or if the light is a high contributing factor to my clones finding a early grave while having nice roots

  38. Codie Mc Neil on May 23, 2022 at 7:15 am

Always good tips. Keep it coming.

  39. M Y on May 23, 2022 at 7:19 am

    My clones don’t wilt.

  40. Lisa Rich on May 23, 2022 at 7:20 am

What residuals are present if you use rooting hormone?

  41. thisfool89 on May 23, 2022 at 7:22 am

Lower success rate on cloning a flowering plant, but it throws off branches like crazy

  42. Certified Exotics on May 23, 2022 at 7:22 am

After i flower and see the flower and aromas, and if i feel like i wanna keep the genetic, ill cut off all my buds to smoke and leave at least 1 and fan leaves and go straight under a 24hr light cycle. In 2 weeks youll have new veg growth and ready to take that clone and save the genetic and or pheno hunt. Add my IG. Prominent Exzotics.

  46. Bobby Boucher on May 23, 2022 at 7:27 am

Showing this to my crew to help train them. They all have zero experience so i told them to listen to you for some advice.

  47. Elias Hood on May 23, 2022 at 7:27 am

I’m being serious, as I’m sure you’ve taken some heat for it… but I find your advice helpful and your voice particularly soothing. God bless you brother

  48. Art Vandelay on May 23, 2022 at 7:29 am

what triggers rooting? cuttings will survive in a cup of water for a month no problem. So the dryer the plug is it needs more humidity? the cuttings will survive a month if you add tons of humidity and still not root. does drying out the plug and lowering the humidity trigger it to root?

  49. Gary Stein on May 23, 2022 at 7:29 am

good 101 tutorial; at least I think so. Going to start my first ever clone project.
