Cloning trick using hydrogen peroxide.
This is how I keep my clones from crushing each other out in the dome. If one clone riots earlier than the other (which is very common), it can often grow so fast that it starts crowding out the other clones in the dome. By adding a small amount of hydrogen peroxide to the pool of water in the tray, you can auto-prune the roots as they touch the water… effectively stopping the top of the plant from exploding in growth, and sharing its neighbors.
This technique is especially helpful when you are trying to clone several different varieties under one dome. Inevitably, one or two of the varieties will root much quicker than the others, and in this way you can prevent them from taking over the entire dome before the others even root.
You might want to be careful not to slosh that water around and get it on your clone plugs, though. I’ve never had any problems with that, but it stands to reason that getting your rooting plugs soaked in the water/hydrogen peroxide solution may cause damage to the roots. Although, again, I have never seen this happen.
I was told to use food grade hydrogen peroxide
You put H2O2 in the water so the roots cant grow down ? how much H2O2?
