Why is a hydroponic system RDWC where the nutrient solution circulates, better than a hydroponic system DWC (Solo), where the nutrient solution remains in one tank, but oxygen is also supplied there through air stones? Why when does the solution circulate it better?
PAR meters measure PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density) or the amount of photons passing a certain point at a certain time

I grow in the same system in a 4×8. Very important tip: you need more air for your airstoned than you think. Whatever pump you think is enough, double it!
You can just pinch off each leaf anywhere on the leaf stem. The rest of the stem will fall off on their own a few days later.

Hey I know this is a two year old video, but
Has anyone ever just flat out sprouted a seed then let it grow roots a bit, THEN plant the seed sideways?
Roots down, but at an extreme angle so the sprout grows towards the edge of the pot.
After that you could easily train it to wrap around, making as many tops as you want

Dwc 5 gal bucket. Will transfer into 30 gal tote if necessary.
What nutrients u using the cultured solutions? I got the 8xl system by cc and I uses jacks 321 for first run and didn’t get NEARLY the root mass I have using advanced nutrients so I was jw what u are using

How can you protect yourself from leakage? What to lay on the floor? Just in case, so as not to flood everything around.
Do you feed the CC nutes straight to the system or is it mix into a stock tank than the stock tank will feed the CC sites when water level are low? Is the best setup to have in this system is mix Stock tank/top off reservoir feed the sites/system? The automated dosing should only dose to the stock tank/top off reservoir
Be careful with the coated snips as it tends to come off in you material over time. Not sure if those are coated but they look like a pair I once used.

how often do you change out bucket I mean over time It collects slime even when water is running through it, how to you maintenance your set up I would change bucket out every 2 weeks to prevent build up

I like to push the lights a lil close near the end to stress them to push out those tricombs. Not to close though, or you’ll burn the terps. Those plants look amazing brotha.

I’m considering picking up this very 4 pot system, but came to YouTube to see what I could find about it. Anyone have experience and could give me their impressions of it? Is this unit really worth it’s cost, as the complete kit at the moment, hardware only, is a bit over $1,400, or at least that’s the cheapest I’ve found it yet.

Save the cut lowers to clone for future crops, save time, and doesn’t waste. Ready in less than a month, for continual grows
Nice grow and setup. However, just to be a little honest. It’s relative easy to get lovely plants in vegg. What I want to see is Harvest time crops. Mature plants.
