De-leafing Cannabis Two Weeks Before Harvest

De-leafing Cannabis Two Weeks Before Harvest

Dan stopped by to check on the big plant’s growth, it is about two weeks before harvest, and there was some issues with the PPM pen, so it’s time for damage control. We de-leaf the big fan leaves around the buds and prepare for the coming harvest. Temperature control and humidity also become a factor during the hot summer months, and we do our best to control it properly.

This grower should not be doing videos of a serious bad grow. You have so much to learn!

ALWAYS go off of your trichomes NOT oxidised pistils… Its normal for alot of strains to have mature pistils early . Say your pistils are 80% oxidised, your trichomes may be 50% clear and 50% cloudy; it’s going to be a trash harsh smoke

Way to much veg for this plant better results would be from less vegging. There is a lot of empty branch there .

  12. Vizzaro on May 22, 2022 at 6:47 am

His plants bud sites will not grow bigger he needs energy for his buds to get bigger and where does energy come from? The LEAVES especially the LEAVES he just removed. He is basically costing his plant photosynthetic potential. Also this will not make his buds grow bigger in the matter of 2 weeks. Just bad information all around. 2 Thumbs down.

  13. Rob Jennings on May 22, 2022 at 6:49 am

Don’t strip leaves 1/2 weeks before harvest, it does the opposite to what he says. The plant try’s to heal nothing for the bud.

  14. Justin Hubbard on May 22, 2022 at 6:52 am

What if….a plant is ready to be harvested , but you grow it longer and longer ,. Does it ruin the quality of the buds at all ?

  18. solomon henry on May 22, 2022 at 6:55 am

U have like the old type of lights bro so sorry leds are great but ur like going super old school it’s not too intense let me correct u . If the lights are on no matter what’s brother the will not grow when the lights are off they will all ways give them as much light as u can also remeber co2 as a sup then at night u give it more time to grow so 12/12 not towards the end do 6/18 more darkness u will see ur baby’s grow

  19. B. Fett Gun Shorts on May 22, 2022 at 6:55 am

It isnt the light, its heat stress bro. I’m using 1000 watt HIDs with a constant temp at 78°F and my girls got fat buds. 4 times that size.

  25. Brandon Lentz on May 22, 2022 at 6:57 am

Your last two weeks are the most crucial. Don’t touch them. The last time you should defoliate, de leaf or shwazz your plants is 3 weeks into flower. That’s it.

  26. BUDINO on May 22, 2022 at 6:58 am

First he says two weeks ready then he says 1 week

Flushing means nothing I just watched a video on a study done by a huge company and plants flushed compared to not flushed had a loss of terpenes and thc where plants that wermt flushed had the highest thc amd terpenes

    well 40 c is bad.

  37. Beau Bridgeman on May 22, 2022 at 7:15 am

YouTube needs to cancel this channel. That plant looks like shit. Already stressed and you want to stress it more right when its supposed to swell and finish.

  38. Clyde Barlow Clock Designs on May 22, 2022 at 7:16 am

These plants have had some serious nutrient issues that has stunted the growth. The light is fine, it’s the plant being too weak to finish out the flowering cycle and most likely has started to cannibalize itself looking for nutrients.

  41. DrakotheHusky on May 22, 2022 at 7:23 am

What causes the leafs to start turning yellow and get alittle droopy. Some even crusty. Could too much light or to low temp do it? The waterings have been fine i check the moisture meter twice a day typically so I don’t believe that would be the issue

  42. Anto Rome on May 22, 2022 at 7:23 am

Hey bro my plants are in vegetation but I started to notice alot of new notes and new leafs like u said (growin crazy )Douse that mean the plants do not like the light I have for them…..? Its my first indoor!!!

Those plants look pitiful. By the time it dries they will be some tiny popcorn buds

  45. That west coast Roofer Guy on May 22, 2022 at 7:30 am

Wouldn’t that stress that plant out ?

  46. Sam Lipsit on May 22, 2022 at 7:33 am

Make sure you have good genetics as they will Herm

  47. james oliver on May 22, 2022 at 7:33 am

Take the temp metre off the light unit, those readings will not be accurate, this i believe will not help dial in your environment.

  48. Tamcore Mc DjTMc on May 22, 2022 at 7:33 am

What light are you using for this set up

  49. DigitalMadrigal on May 22, 2022 at 7:36 am

It’s important to have backup ppm and ph pens. A broken pen can send you into a panic. That’s why I just buy the cheapo pens.

  50. Andrew Pursley on May 22, 2022 at 7:37 am

Bro great information. My only complaint is you drone on and on. You weren’t even anywhere close to getting to the point and I was ready to shut it off just keep it simple it gets to the point on your next video you’ll have a lot more success
