All you need for a toilet is bleach
Connect Bluetooth headphones to your kids device so you can listen to what they’re watching

  2. Joe Jacobs on September 29, 2022 at 3:20 am

Another way to get less doming on cakes is if it takes more than 20 mins to bake put the cake in when you start the preheat. This acts like starting at a lower temperature letting the batter heat up slowly so it can spring up more evenly.

  3. thescales18 on September 29, 2022 at 3:21 am

Ban that TikTok first…its a curse on society.

  4. CraftingMom on September 29, 2022 at 3:25 am

They made the dangerous alcohol rope hack MORE dangerous?? How???

  5. Jamie Lynn on September 29, 2022 at 3:25 am

wtf wearing a wine bottle GLASS bracelet sounds like the literal WORST idea i’ve ever heard 😭 all i can imagine is you getting horribly sliced and cut open with huge wounds like possibly deadly

  6. Junk Science on September 29, 2022 at 3:26 am

Not to mention, most cleaning products only work when used with the formulated amount of water. People think "more=better", and used concentrated soaps and degreasers to clean things WORSE that if they just followed the instructions. I NEVER got this through to my father when I was younger, but he was the most Trump like person I knew who isn’t Donald Trump, so no shock there.

  7. Kaida Grönfjäll on September 29, 2022 at 3:26 am

Oh am I glad he is not actually in the video, I worried you made a collab with him or something.
I hated seeing his fake reaction face plastered on clickbait thumbnails that I had to block his account just to tell YouTube I don’t want this on my page.
But it was pleasant that instead you pointed out how clickbaity all his content is

  8. Peter Siegel on September 29, 2022 at 3:27 am

I feel deceived why was Mr. Beast in the thumbnail if he isn’t related to the video at all!

  9. Psychedelic Chameleon on September 29, 2022 at 3:27 am

The cleaning your toilet with loads of products trend is SO STUPID

  10. Suparna on September 29, 2022 at 3:30 am

Thanks Ann for the warning about the videos. My 9yo has come across some really dodgy stuff and I have now removed her access to YouTube. Somehow this kind of content is sidestepping any parental controls I put on and my daughter keeps going back to it. Very scary stuff

  11. Gamer Tag on September 29, 2022 at 3:31 am

Can you make a sonic cake so when it’s my birthday my mom will make it

  12. Tamara Lark on September 29, 2022 at 3:33 am

    Kia Ora Ann,
Can you tell me more? I’d love your opinion on kids using YouTube. I watch my boy like a hawk. You just mentions Mr Beast. My 7 year old has mention him.

  13. Strawation on September 29, 2022 at 3:33 am

The Chinese app is not that terrifying, especially if you already use TikTok. Those are the exact same terms and conditions most Chinese apps use. Still dodgy, but not "oh wow scary scam" levels. Anyway, a kid should not know how to use QR codes until they know how easy it is to get viruses through those links.

I only got in a strangers car once (not counting taxis and lyft). My bf was driving me to a doctor’s appointment, it was snowing, and we hit a tree head on, triggering the air bags. Someone stopped and drove us the last mile there. There was no way we could have walked on those backroads safely and I was in so much pain (turned out I had broken ribs). There was probably a better solution but I don’t know it, even in hindsight

  15. rabidsamfan on September 29, 2022 at 3:34 am

To me a dome just means more cake.

  16. Zebo on September 29, 2022 at 3:34 am

How the hell is 5-minute crafts even still a thing? I mean at this point everybody should know it’s all fake (and dangerous).

  17. theonlycatonice on September 29, 2022 at 3:35 am

11:00 wth is wrong with people

  18. Hoolet on September 29, 2022 at 3:41 am

Over reaction re salad danger of contamination, fairly standard practice in professional kitchens to store salad in ice water during kitchen prep work to freshen up the salad. If there was an actual proportional, relative risk you would see a lot more sick customers, important to quantify risk not just state there is a risk. Otherwise excellent content as always.

  19. xFoxyNinjax on September 29, 2022 at 3:46 am

As a celiac I’d be really interested in your doing a video on gluten-free baking and how it differs! Since I only got diagnosed a couple years ago I’ve had 30 years of total food freedom and now I’m still learning how to bake gluten-free. Do you have any advice or tips?

    Love the videos! <3

  20. Kitty Mervine on September 29, 2022 at 3:46 am

so wax,,, dipping a body part into hot wax (no matter how the low melt!) Very very dangerous.

  21. Asteri on September 29, 2022 at 3:47 am

THANK YOU FOR COVERING THE CLEANING TREND. i watch so many cleaning and organizing tik toks and i start foaming at the mouth when people put so much cleaning products in one space. I also once watched a person but fabuloso in a HUMIDIFIER.

  22. The Cheap Stove Diary on September 29, 2022 at 3:47 am

Lettuce hack – it can be safe IF you know what to do. Old school move – is you pull off the leaves, wash the lettuce, clean off bruises, etc, 2 hrs in ice water before using in a salad. Worried still about if it is safe? Add some vinegar or salt. We would use 2 cups in our big kitchen sinks, add water, then half way with ice, then put in the leaves. You want to keep your lettuce good in the fridge, baby aspirin in the water it sits the stem in while in the fridge. Always clean your lettuce.

  23. Emma Jones on September 29, 2022 at 3:48 am

The fact that there are parents who let their children just watch videos with no supervision is disgusting. “You don’t get it until your a parent!!!” My parents managed, my parents parents managed, no more excuses, look after your children.

  24. Suzanne Dargie on September 29, 2022 at 3:49 am

I am always horrified to hear about these perverted channels that show innocent visuals, but fill childrens’ heads with disturbing stories! There’s got to be a way to stop those channels from continuing. It absolutely sickens me. Thank you again, Ann, for warning people about these things!

  25. J Girl on September 29, 2022 at 3:49 am

For the lettuce hack, clean and cut your lettuce then put it in an ice bath for about 15 minutes. Faster and safer

  26. BUNKAYKE on September 29, 2022 at 3:50 am

I could hear her talk forever and make any topic interesting

  27. Angela Griffin on September 29, 2022 at 3:52 am

I had never seen about foil but baking strips have worked for me. You might test them.

  28. Maz H on September 29, 2022 at 3:52 am

The creepy videos are rather odd, I think there’s far too much true crime stuff out there, but I wish there was more trust in society in regards to hitching a ride with strangers, my ma used to do it all the time, and I’ve done it a few times. I think if a kid is alone somewhere in the middle of nowhere there’s probably a bigger problem.

  29. Jessica Vallee on September 29, 2022 at 3:53 am

Thanks for mentioning taking a look/listen at what the children are viewing. My mom taught me to always pre-screen every video my kids watch but wow, just wow. I’ll have to share that with other moms I know!

  30. Tessa Warhol on September 29, 2022 at 3:54 am

TikTok is the natural selection in modern form

  31. Emma Clowes on September 29, 2022 at 3:55 am

The fact is all of those Chemicals go straight in our water

  32. ShariceOrNah on September 29, 2022 at 3:57 am

The first one just straight pisses me off. Like, just, why? Why are you doing this?

  33. Desirée Cornect on September 29, 2022 at 3:57 am

Personally I like throwing bleach in the toilet of my enemies so that the next time they pee they make mustard gas.

  34. Black League on September 29, 2022 at 3:58 am

This women Ann is insufferable, what a thief.

  35. Karsyn on September 29, 2022 at 3:58 am

Ann is the best!!! Cake queen improves society and educates parents as well as bake amazing foods. A highly intelligent woman!

  36. zilpzalpmukkefukk on September 29, 2022 at 3:58 am

A world full of shameful (and quite bad) lies. I hate humanity sometimes.

  37. Geißler Heiko on September 29, 2022 at 4:00 am

Debunking fakes, but taking @MrBeast in her thumbnail? That doesn’t fit together!

  38. Marcus Carana on September 29, 2022 at 4:01 am

At this point, YouTube should already know these content farmers are posting dangerous videos but since their channels have the highest of views, YouTube is allowing them cause you know. Money.

  39. buttercream frosting on September 29, 2022 at 4:03 am

I’m so glad this was a call out and not a collaboration

  40. Avery Neulander on September 29, 2022 at 4:05 am

Pretty disappointed with how the lettuce hack was covered. First of all, it works. It only takes around an hour for it to crisp up but anyone who’s taken a biology class can tell you that putting plant cells into plain water will cause them to absorb it. I think the camera is a pretty misleading way to show it – of course the lettuce doesn’t look like it crisps up very much when the leaves are crushed in a bowl vs standing up! Try putting a piece of lettuce in water for yourself; you’ll definitely feel a difference after an hour.

More importantly, any bacteria that you need to worry about making you sick won’t multiply in ice water (listeria can reproduce at pretty cold temperatures, but the cold water and nutrient poor environment still make it hard for them).

I think the idea that it will spread around bacteria is probably also not a huge concern. I always wash all parts of my lettuce anyway, when it’s on the store shelves there are plenty of times when leaves are torn off, different parts are touching, etc. Overall, I can’t imagine that an hour or two in ice water would make much of a difference for bacterial growth (and my mom who was a microbiologist always soaked lettuce in water, usually overnight, so clearly she didn’t either!)

  41. Julian Laresch on September 29, 2022 at 4:05 am

those toilet cleaning videos are "overflow" videos where they make pretty colors in a toilet that’s already perfectly clean, I hate it so much

  42. Mike E on September 29, 2022 at 4:07 am

To be honest I regularly carve items and even rings out of regular candle wax. It does breay easily so you cant get too complex. I then make a mould of it using a homade silicone moulding material (builders silicone and cornflour) and i use that mould to cast more wax blanks that i can use in metal casting or i use the moulds to cast resin, Mostly because i dont have that expensive wax lol

  43. Alan LeBlanc on September 29, 2022 at 4:08 am

Cleaning powder and bleach cause the same gas used in gas chambers.

  44. mistifeyed on September 29, 2022 at 4:09 am

    Thank you!

  45. AFugy on September 29, 2022 at 4:09 am

The "algorithm" did you wrong on this video, youtube waited 5 days to show me the video.

  46. NinjaWithNoBalance on September 29, 2022 at 4:12 am

Imagen if these people used their time on actually good ideas that works the world would be a better place.

  47. Wise Poseidon on September 29, 2022 at 4:15 am

Ann is the internet Superhero saving lives 1 video at a time!

  48. Daniel Gebur on September 29, 2022 at 4:16 am

I can forgive Mr beast for the massive clickbait because of how much he does for the world. It would be nice if he could get those numbers without that much clickbait though.

  49. Rex Kramer - Danger Seeker on September 29, 2022 at 4:16 am

99% of stuff on social media is just trash and same with about 80% of the stuff on here. Algorithms are screwing with people’s trust and gullibility by rewarding clickbait titles and just terrible videos. I’ve pretty much stopped using social media when they started pushing random crappy meme pages and I was seeing more of those than posts from people I actually care to follow.
