00:29 Why are you topping?
Know you objectives before choosing a method
01:08 There are many different styles of topping.
– No one style is correct,
– It just depends on your goals/objectives & cultivation style
01:40 What is the Pinching Method?
– Goal is to multiply the nodes
03:07 Dan’s Method of Topping
– Purpose is shaping the plant, creating lollipop shape
04:52 Comparing the Pinching method to Dan’s style
– Pinching small plants will stunt growth
– Increases the length of your veg cycle
06:59 Demonstrating the Pinching method #1
– Only partially pinch the head, leave some of it
08:00 Demonstrating the Pinching method #2
– This is more for multiplying nodes in the same space
10:28 Demonstrating Dan’s Method of topping
– This involves cutting off the top half of the plant
– This is better for later stage veg, but it works wonders

I top mine then I bend over that too after a few day to keep the stress down and keep the tops. I kinda experiment every grow
Shout-out from Costa Rica guys . Growing in the jungle with this techniques!
Cool stuff guys thanks for the info!! One thing I’ve found interesting is if you top down to the 6th leaf set ( from seed ) as soon as it appears the plant isn’t quite ready and really stalls but if you let the seventh and 8th leaf sets establish fully and then top down to the 6th leaf set she has matured enough to really keep momentum and barely stall if at all..and if you look at the nodes against the stem below the 6th leaf set once the 7th and 8th are established you’ll notice the new branches have now started to form very quickly and this coincides with the formation of 7 and 8th leaf set.. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this or if you’ve noticed any other consistent plant patterns!! Rock on guysm/
Should I top at night our does it matter

Why do some people cut the tips off of their leaves?
