You should really change the title to your video. With out having some extra materials on hand from a previous build, there is no way you’re build this system under $100. I priced everything thing from multiple places and it’s between $125-$150. Using basic materials.

the air stone/bubbles doesnt add oxygen to the water by themselves, its the turbulation on top of the water when the bubbles explode that cause the oxygenation. you dont need a big airpump and certainly not a mega big airstone for it to work.
also for hydroponics like this you dont need 6inch big netcups, the 2inch one is plenty.
