I had a white widow strain growing for years indoors and out that I did all the wrongs things to and it never went hemi. I completely reversed light cycles from lights on at night to lights on during the day. Had a blackout for like 3 days during flowering when the wire from the pole to the house broke and probably had light leaks a plenty and never hemi. I mean shit, I veg in an open cupboard with lights on during the day so it’s getting a shitload of light leak lol. I figure it’s because it had stable genetics and didn’t have Y chromosome so could never go hemi no matter what ya did to it. And I’ve been growing a feminised Hindu kush for about the last 12 months that had some of the same dodgy shit happen to it. Blacked out for a few hours, light leaks etc, and no hemi from it.

There is a metal halide street light about 60 yards away from my outdoor grow that’s on all night, even that has never affected my girls during any of my grows… People are worried about moonlight? That’s pretty funny.

  7. 3D_IY on May 15, 2022 at 6:52 pm

My plants always get a slight bit of light, never had any problems

  8. Kit Russell on May 15, 2022 at 6:52 pm

    You always have great subject.
That why I’m a patron! Thanks

  9. HELL WITH IT!! B. L. A. on May 15, 2022 at 6:54 pm

No you don’t have to protect them from the moon light. But. Harvest when you get a full moon makes it taste better. Also brings out the aroma some.
    But what do I know!

  10. mostlyHarmless on May 15, 2022 at 6:57 pm

    ?

  11. MineHunter on May 15, 2022 at 6:57 pm

    “Does the moon” grammar bro

  12. wisegeorge365 on May 15, 2022 at 6:57 pm

No problem with moon light but street lights, car headlights and neighbor’s porch lights are a different kettle of fish or in this case, grow bag of medicine. Spend a night with the girls and observe the conditions before deciding where to plant.

  13. glynbo68 on May 15, 2022 at 6:59 pm

In 25 yrs of growing outside in europe, moonlight doesnt affect the flowering pertiod at all, it seems to affect people far more than it affects the plants .

  14. shaun simmons on May 15, 2022 at 7:00 pm

WhT about a timer light it’s very small so it may seem like moon or star light?

  15. Tim Billings on May 15, 2022 at 7:04 pm

Light does not bother the plants outdoors I have had plants 40′ from street lights since 2016 grew just fine! 🤷🏻‍♂️
I’ve been growing for 45 years so I know my cannabis! ☺️
Don’t shine a flashlight on your plants!!!
    😂😂😂😂😂
Use a green filter plants do Not use green light…
2 pieces of green pop bottle plastic in a flashlight works good!

  16. Lads gone Fishing on May 15, 2022 at 7:06 pm

If you have to cover ya plant becaus of a full moon then that means you have some shitty seeds or clones that were bred by cowboy breeders.

  17. Rya N on May 15, 2022 at 7:07 pm

Imagine having no common sense to where you ask this question

  18. Wyatt McCoy on May 15, 2022 at 7:15 pm

I have one plant outside that turned hermaphrodite and I’m pretty sure is from me shine a flashlight on it one night the next died I went and looked at it and it was Hermes out hermaphrodite out

  19. jon snow on May 15, 2022 at 7:15 pm

Moonlight is the best light for cannabis and to germinate seeds our ancestors were using the moon years ago

  20. Noitpircserp Ruoy on May 15, 2022 at 7:17 pm

  21. Matthew Ball on May 15, 2022 at 7:19 pm

    Does

  22. Professor 420 on May 15, 2022 at 7:19 pm

    short answer: no!

also, you use the word ‘theory’ incorrectly. what you want is ‘hypothesis’.

  23. Ezra Gabay on May 15, 2022 at 7:19 pm

    Thank you 🙏

  24. InConTruth on May 15, 2022 at 7:21 pm

I grow outdoor on an area of property that’s pitch black at night. There’s no light pollution whatsoever. My buds are always rock solid.

  25. xCLARKxKENTx on May 15, 2022 at 7:21 pm

if 0.3 lux affects your crop then the genetics you are working with are so poor a fart at the wrong time would probably make the plants hermi.

  26. PJ M on May 15, 2022 at 7:22 pm

moon phase growing is complete pseudo science nonsense. the equations of gravity are known and you can calculate the actual gravitational effects of the moon and any other random object. the gravity that you exert on your plants is many orders of magnitude greater than that of the moon. it’s just as bullshit as astrologers who claim that the gravity of stars affects the behavior of people on Earth. it’s bunk.

  27. Tmanstomp100 on May 15, 2022 at 7:25 pm

what kinda stupid person would think the moon is gonna mess up a plant? like do they not understand PLANTS GROW OUTSIDE?

  28. Life with Nick and Hayley on May 15, 2022 at 7:25 pm

Lol. Shock by full moon exposure. This is a bit silly you guys.

  29. Jordan blackbird on May 15, 2022 at 7:25 pm

It must be Mars it’s closest to earth in 1000 year it’s gravity must be pulling the plants out of the ground growing 8 foot plants that trailer park boys episode was right on?

  30. Rick James on May 15, 2022 at 7:27 pm

I’m confused so is the moon bad for the marijuana plants because I seen that some of the nug started opening up because of the moon and the ones that were closed we came on us same species of weed

  31. FOR THE LOVE OF CANNABIS on May 15, 2022 at 7:28 pm

    Its never impacted my plants

  32. Lrrr, Ruler of the Planet Omicron Persei 8 on May 15, 2022 at 7:30 pm

I can promise you that the moon doesn’t have any gravitational impact on your plants.
Tides only work on gigantic bodies of water, not on whales, you, me or plants.

  33. Robert Maestas on May 15, 2022 at 7:31 pm

Yes at the time of harvest because you want total darkness before u chop her down.

  34. Rajveer Bhoday on May 15, 2022 at 7:31 pm

I have a not very bright street light right above all my outdoor plants in UK in August about 15-20 ft diagonally away from my plants.

I’m not 100% sure but I read that the days begin to shorten in the UK during july. Knowing that cannabis begins to flower when the days shorten enough. I feel as though the street light is delaying the flowering because my plants are so old now and they are so tall but they are just now showing preflowers.

Has anybody got a method of removing the light pollution that’s safer than climbing a ladder on the light and duct taping the light?

I really need to start my plants force flowering now otherwise the weather will kill my plants in October.

    Thanks for any advices

  35. Victor Spoils on May 15, 2022 at 7:34 pm

this is a cool as fuck channel. good work brother! im going to do research to prove my theory. everybody is asking will the moon hurt the plant. thats dumb. i want to know what subtle magic does the moonlight do FOR the plant. that isn’t being absorbed by an indoor plant. i dont see the moon like most of you. i stand with eric dubay. the moon is not a sphere. its a perfect disc. of its own luminescence. i see time and time again. the masses totally underestimating the moon, and its relevance in equal importance as the sun. says alot about how people have been trained to use their brain terribly poorly. favoritism racism even to the luminaries.

  36. youtuber1 on May 15, 2022 at 7:34 pm

    Wow man

  37. Dieno Vandale on May 15, 2022 at 7:34 pm

    Go into the light

  38. Shi-Thead on May 15, 2022 at 7:34 pm

Gravitational pull would have no affect whether it’s inside or outside. The mass doesn’t change just because the moon is full or crescent. Light on the other hand could

  39. Rat Slayer on May 15, 2022 at 7:36 pm

Moonlight definitely……. doesn’t do anything to your girls….lol

  40. ** on May 15, 2022 at 7:36 pm

No ads: so refreshing. Love your channel.

  41. Masiosare Gòmez on May 15, 2022 at 7:37 pm

…besides, the autumn sky is clear where cannabis grows naturaly.

  42. DTA 4321 on May 15, 2022 at 7:37 pm

Why y’all think there is a harvest Moon??? Harvest your shit under it. Obviously

  43. Fatty McBastard on May 15, 2022 at 7:39 pm

Has there been any research done to determine how much light pollution cast on your plants it takes to interfere with budding? My neighbour has some photoperiod plants in his backyard that are in a direct line of sight with the peachy-coloured street lamp across the road. If I take my light meter out to his plants at night, at what lux level should we start getting concerned?

  44. JC York on May 15, 2022 at 7:40 pm

Chuck em in the dirt in the garden. Watch grow. enjoy.

  45. Lowprofile on May 15, 2022 at 7:41 pm

There are only 12 or 13 full moons in an entire year. Don’t think that’s a problem

  46. C F on May 15, 2022 at 7:41 pm

My kitchen light was coursing males. I removed the bulb. The other night I got up and it was like a spot light in my yard.It was the closest the moons been to the earth. It worked out good.

  47. Shane Fowkes on May 15, 2022 at 7:41 pm

Lex loving that shirt man, bring a brand out please, and another thing, moon light has around 1/3 of the light of the sun and also reflects light but as it has that soft glow it can relax the plants supplying the temps are right

  48. steven cochran on May 15, 2022 at 7:42 pm

    This is absolutely ridiculous.
It is just a weed./ plant and they could not be easier to grow.

  49. Lex Blazer on May 15, 2022 at 7:42 pm

Several of you wondered why I used Lux instead of PAR to express the value of the moon illuminance…and the reason is simply that I couldn’t find a reliable source that measured Moonlight illuminance this way but if you’d like to drop it under this comment I’d love to know what it is. my guess is that it’s very low.

Low light light stress is an awesome topic. Street lights, motion lights, head lights…..
