  4. Qaib Ej on May 19, 2022 at 8:26 pm

You feed them once a week, so how long does the nutrients stay in the bucket for the plants to consume before doing a change? And will the change be a water solution or another nutrient solution? Sorry for alot of questions im thinking about starting a dwc.

  5. Jacob Pooler on May 19, 2022 at 8:26 pm

Hello world of Hydroponics! Having a high school that is very forward with science and whatnot showed me hydroponics and I never really thought anything of it, like yeah its cool. But WOW HELLO root systems! Looks like I’m diving into this next grow season!

  6. Dominik Mccord on May 19, 2022 at 8:27 pm

Are you checking the PH on your water and nutrients?

  7. Will on May 19, 2022 at 8:27 pm

I wish I could subscribe again man I swear. You’ve answer every question I’ve had thus far.

  8. Canna Ami on May 19, 2022 at 8:28 pm

    Loved it.

  9. ran dom on May 19, 2022 at 8:29 pm

Silver roots, hydrogen peroxide or look for a microbe that eats algae

  10. Denise White on May 19, 2022 at 8:29 pm

Do you replace the water with each feeding?

  11. Ray Mayberry on May 19, 2022 at 8:31 pm

what temperature did you keep your water at and how?

  12. Cash Money on May 19, 2022 at 8:32 pm

I’m starting a small 3.5 gallon grow just to try out growing for the first time ever, gonna use the fox farms trio and was wondering how much I needed to buy and how much I needed to add

  13. Trevor James on May 19, 2022 at 8:35 pm

  14. Adin Rosier on May 19, 2022 at 8:37 pm

  17. Daniel Smith on May 19, 2022 at 8:42 pm

Nice, this is awesome. Im done with soil problems… i just got a little 4x2x6 tent to grow in. Do you suggestions 1 or 2 plants and also, would you use separate buckets or larger reservoir and 2 potters

  18. CaliBudz916 on May 19, 2022 at 8:42 pm

I personally wouldnt use fox farm in DWC as they contain organic material which is a breeding ground for all kinds of root problems

  19. Maine Stain on May 19, 2022 at 8:43 pm

Have you used the General Hydroponic Flora Grow nutrients?

  20. Sister Mary Clements on May 19, 2022 at 8:43 pm

    Hilarious.. Too much micromanaging lol
I feed my plants fertilizer every 3rd fillup. No schedule. Too much work.
I NEVER flush my container lol
I simply just add water when it runs low lol
I NEVER pH my water. Just tap from the kitchen sink.
Basically I keep it very simple. I’ve never had any problems. It amazes me how much work people put into this when it’s not necessary.
I always get good yields and healthy plants.
I’m a lazy farmer. And let’s be honest, it’s a weed. This shit can grow on autopilot if you let it.
    Cheers

Great video! How much air do you calculate for each bucket?

  23. DoZo on May 19, 2022 at 8:45 pm

Could you have wrapped the buckets in aluminum foil?

  24. SheepInsane - on May 19, 2022 at 8:48 pm

    Amazing!

  25. Dylan on May 19, 2022 at 8:55 pm

Hey can I get some advice. Ve followed your videos and I transplanted my seedling into the hydro bucket when the roots started poking through the rockwool and now its dying

  26. Dyaami D'Orazio on May 19, 2022 at 8:55 pm

how is the smell of your plants?

  27. Kacy Burkhart on May 19, 2022 at 8:56 pm

Quick question, when topping off with nutes you mix nutes in the bucket and then add plain water on top rather than mixing the fresh nutes independently and pouring the in after mixing?

  28. maximiliano linares on May 19, 2022 at 8:58 pm

    beautifull plants.
Im starting a new harvest and i was wondering at what higth do you set up the ligths? I saw the mmeshures but you dont talk about the exact high.
    Can you help with that.
    Thenks!

  29. Nathan27 on May 19, 2022 at 8:59 pm

Hi I have a few questions regarding temperatures and nutrients, could we possibly email and chat maybe bounce a few ideas off each other

  30. INDOOR MAGIC GROWS on May 19, 2022 at 9:00 pm

I loose ya when ya mention you only add a gallon worth of nuts to a 5 gallon DWC system. CONFUSED. I understand your busy. Can you or anyone fill me.

  31. enrique jaramillo on May 19, 2022 at 9:00 pm

U don’t clean ur. Buckets? An add fresh nutrients? Won’t that mess with the ppms? Not trying to sound like I know 100 percent of what I’m talking about just an honest question

  32. Samwise G. on May 19, 2022 at 9:03 pm

Did you ever defoliate during veg? Great videos btw, thanks man!

  33. waldenaj on May 19, 2022 at 9:04 pm

What is your feeding schedule and flush schedule? Love your videos! I’m a beginner and they help so much.

  34. Davis Shags on May 19, 2022 at 9:04 pm

Why are you not using the hydroponic fox farm trio? It looks like you are using the soil kind.

  35. mike wilkins on May 19, 2022 at 9:05 pm

They look great but way too much work! Lol I love soil!

  36. DK on May 19, 2022 at 9:06 pm

Do hydro plants always look so droopy and overwatered?

  37. trevor hatt on May 19, 2022 at 9:06 pm

Do you use sledgehammer flush and if so how long do you flush your plants for between veg and flower

  38. Strizza Oner on May 19, 2022 at 9:07 pm

Would of been nice to tell what week of veg they were in

  39. Tim Pea on May 19, 2022 at 9:09 pm

Red translucent buckets would allow red light to pass through. Green plants reflect green light and use red light. I wonder if the red buckets grew algae, not because of the bucket thickness, but because of the transmitted light wavelength?

  40. Yoo Nonymous on May 19, 2022 at 9:10 pm

So, you don’t have to drain the water every week and add fresh water with new nutrients?

  41. Chris Liknes on May 19, 2022 at 9:13 pm

H202.. it will kill your Algae.

  42. Travis Mosier on May 19, 2022 at 9:13 pm

Hey..what size cup are you mixing nutrients in?

  43. Juan G on May 19, 2022 at 9:14 pm

Would you recommend their light cycle? Because I personally can run a 24/7 so I’m not sure

  44. Isaac on May 19, 2022 at 9:14 pm

What’s the ph level for the water

  45. 近至遠 on May 19, 2022 at 9:15 pm

good work. how to maintain the water temperature?

  46. Vinicius Valerio on May 19, 2022 at 9:16 pm

One doubt here, for your 3,5 gallon, you add 1 gallon of water+nutes? I have that doubt, I work with 2x 5 gallon buckets.. The doubt is, can I mix 1 gallon then add to my other 3,5-4 gallon of pure water? Or do I gotta have the nutes to entire 5 gallon and just mix them with the water?

  47. Lexy Rose on May 19, 2022 at 9:18 pm

Is the time different when frowning like veg state and flowering than soil

  48. Patrick Holt on May 19, 2022 at 9:21 pm

Thanks for the tip on the feeding schedule. Might help solve problems I had with my last grow.

  49. Jordan Willis on May 19, 2022 at 9:21 pm

For nutrients, do you always use the 1 gallon value in 3.5 gallon of water throughout the entire veg growth? Would you do this with General Hydroponics line? Love your series!

  50. shawn Williamson on May 19, 2022 at 9:22 pm

I am a first time grower and I want to thank you for these videos! I just got my seeds to germ- and waiting on my DWC watering system + clay balls. I’d really like to keep you up to date on my progress.
