This video is in response to the claims of the “New Atheism.” One that has been presented by the likes of Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins and the late Christopher Hitchens. One who holds faith is NOT irrational. Science and reason are not incompatible with faith in fact they complement each other very well because they come from the same source, God. We hope that this video touches the hearts of many people. If you seek to dialogue in the commentary below please be respectful of those you are communicating with. It takes a lot more faith to be an atheist than a Christian.
You make the word faith synonymous with irrationality
When science uses faith, on that we must agree.
The Universe is Rational, Lawful, and Corresponds One to One with our Brains,
These are tenants of faith that the scientific method maintains.
So let’s refrain from an arrogant attack where science can’t reach,
Many things are known that the empirical method can’t teach.
God is not one thing in the Universe to be measured and verified.
He is the independent, transcendent uncaused cause of all inside.
You imitate our virtues and say they can be lived without God or creed
but they follow our moral structure and you deny you follow our lead.
People have been killed in the name of religion that cannot be denied.
But you say without religion peace and harmony will thrive?
The Spanish Inquisition three thousand, the Salem witch trials nineteen,
but millions upon millions slaughtered in atheistic regimes
How dark this world would be without faith, love and Divine light
We all have a conscience discerning what’s wrong and right
Each human heart desires much more than this life can’t get
To deny the existence of a Transcendent God is the ultimate opiate
You can numb the minds assent to the truth and faith you can refuse
But In the end man stands between God and nothingness and He must choose.

question: with evidence to what? that u where a result of a huge sum of mistakes? that your really nothing? according to evolution evidence you are no different from a dog that we can put a leash and walk in the park, or a pests that are hunted daily in order that your food grows healthy and you live in a place with out them crawling on you at night. your "evidence" point to the fact that you and any other plant, insect, animal, or even an solid object have a lot in common. Kind of like family:)

I would just like to comment that the lat quote from Aquinas is actually a misquote. Aquinas never said anything like that. And besides, that contradicts his very own writings. If it is indeed true Aquinas believes that no explanation is necessary to those who believe, then he wouldn’t have written the Summa Theologiae. And if he believes that no explanation is possible for the unbeliever, then he wouldn’t have written the Sumna Contra Gentiles.

What i want to know is how you make the leap from "there is a being who created the universe" to our religion is therefore correct and you are wrong. If there is such a being (which there is evidence against, just saying) whose to say its Yahweh? Why not Vishnu, or the Diyinni? Or another equally plausible theory, there were a group of gods that created the universe. You cannot rule these out if you’re a creationist, because these beings were allegedly uncaused as well.
