Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 4 ANALYZED! – 6×04 – Book of the Stranger – Daenerys Fire Explained
In this Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 4 – Book of the Stranger Breakdown, we reveal all the secrets, easter eggs, missable moments, and themes going on in Game of Thrones 6×04. This episode has all kinds of secret stuff going on, but mostly it’s the epic fire scene, with Daenerys Targaryen reborn through fire. She defeats the khals and becomes the new leader of the Dothraki, all because Daenerys is unburned and a bad ass. This also has a very interesting parallel to the Jon Snow resurrection that we get into in the video. Littlefinger returns this episode, and Littlefinger and Robin have a VERY interesting scene, if you heard the clues. Also, Sansa and Jon at the wall, with Brienne and Tormund about to get their freak on, is very interesting because of the state of House Stark, and what Jon’s duty is to the Stark family. He’s gotta take down Ramsay Bolton!
In this Game of Thrones analysis, 6×04 Season 6 episode 4, we point out the themes and framing also, to give deeper meaning to what is going on! And another take on what is happening in the Daenerys fire scene. Maybe the only thing we don’t go *too* into is Ramsay killing Osha. Yikes.
Oh also, we’re trying out a thing with the next episode promo. Fimo watches the Season 6 Episode 5 promo, aka the preview for the next episode 6×05 “The Door,” and he gives you his thoughts and predictions. the little finger theory sounds dead on ,nice.
The door…hold the door…..hodor , imagine if he managed to figure it out!
jon snow is Born amidst salt and smoke – targaryen bloodline had been murdered, lannisters made it hostile for any to return… which is like burning cities to the ground, and salting the ground so conquered people wouldn’t return.
Historical Note: In Mulan, they call the Mongols Huns, because Disney is confused. Huns never wen’t to China.
maybe azor ahai is a baby of jon and danys?
That bit about the millipede and Margery. 14:26 Deep!

I still cry myself to sleep over the Sansa + Jon reunion.
The "come and See" and pink v. yellow Bolton seals… I have never thought of those aspects before, niceeee!
holy little finger is the Prince who was promised
I guess that’s the reason why she killed the Grand Measter. She took his opposite advise. Cersei definitely set the High Sparrow off!
My theory: Jon Snow is Azor Ahai. Danaerys is the flaming sword.
Boom.
I love this channel. The commentary is excellent. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
the Bible isn’t just children bed time story’s, its real history and future all in one. you should read it sometime.
Visigoths=wildlings i bet
Hmmm I just noticed. That Mr Miyagi quote "Fight not good but if must fight… win" is almost exactly what Rickon Stark said to young Ned when he sent him off to the Vale in "The Door"
I’m a bit behind on all this but when they say that Dany will start three fires for: life, death, love, my instinct is that she starts the third fire for someone or for some others and she sacrifices herself. If the whole azor ahai prophecy happens (again) then she would sacrifice herself by letting someone (yes, probably Jon) put his sword through her and setting it on fire.
The lanisters had over 60k soldiers, so its not the largest. i heard it might be 30k
Sansa knew Rickon was a goner but used Jon’s desire to save him to get him to help her recapture Winterfell
and ya totally digging the preview theories at the end.
I know it’s probably not worth doing just a dream of mine go back and review from series 1 predictions would begone tho and theory time oh never mind wouldn’t be the same lol
I thought Tommen was told that he was born out of incest, which would also make Cersei stopping him from saying anything, which she did. Olenna is smart, she wouldn’t tell Loras.
Is anyone else rewatching this after season 7?
The comments about the conflicting Red Woman choices for Azor Ahai plus the previous video explaining his flaming sword made me think there’s more support for them joining together than fighting it out. Jon has the sword and Dany has the fire. Perhaps rather than fighting for a single champion, it’s symbolic of a combined effort that has to happen. I mean, if the Starks are the most prepared for Winter and the Targaryens are connected with Fire, there’s further evidence there to support a joint effort to overcome the White Walkers for the future of Westeros. In fact, of all the houses, theirs are really the two whose House Animals are creatures from myth: Direwolves and Dragons, two real being thought faded into legend but have since reappeared, just like the White Walkers.
…or this could be totally off the mark. Guess time will tell. 🙂
John snow kills Danny, running her through and ignites his sword with the fire inside her. my two cents B)
rewatching this series now
I also feel like Sansa sent the letter bc she’s turning out to be a master manipulator too.
24:00 whats the point of flaying a dead person it takes all the fun out of it
My goodness. I know everybody has pointed out several predictions but you’ve even predicted Tormund wanting to make giant babies Brienne that will rule the world. He mentions that in season 7 when he’s talking it the hound. It’s when they’re beyond the wall looking for a deadman to take back as proof the white walkers exist.
Ohhhh god the Karate Kid clips… memories!!!!!!!!😅😂
i think tyrion is with Daenerys Targaryen so that tyrion can find a way to avoid fight between john snow & Daenerys Targaryen
When little lady mormont started the "king in the north" chant for John, Sansa looked at Little finger. I think she knows little finger will try to kill john and will most likely sacrifice herself to save him.
p.s The dance of fire and ice is when the witch king resurrects some of the original dragons to fight dany’s dragon, but the dead dragons breathe ice through magic.
I watched season 2 and I can’t remember shit, ur good Filip Molina
Wow, this video is excellent! So much research and insight. Love how you connected GOT with actual history, which I wasn’t aware of. Keep up the great work! Except for the Jesus = Lord of Light comparisons…
Littlefinger definitely sent that. Damn ur good.
About Theon, "The first time, he was way too *cock*y. " Ha HA Ha
Daenerys is one of the most pompous characters in GOT. She doesn’t actually fight, arrogantly lets others fight for her. She has a STUPID amount of titles that she insists on having named every time someone speaks to her. Not even Geoffrey was that bad. If it wasn’t for her dragons and plot armor she’d be a perfect match for a nicer Geoffrey.
This analysis is as long as the episode itself. Good stuff. but Maybe giving the writers too much credit.
the prince that is promise is their son
umm… whats the point of skinning osha she`s already dead
I’m glad you included Varys’ riddle, very fitting and one of my favourite quotes
High Sparrow acting like Joker in The Dark Knight "Wanna know how i got theese Scars?"
Preparing for next season (which is coming soon), I decided to watch through your breakdowns of season 6 and…. like… I used to think Battle of the Bastards was my absolute favorite episode from the series, but after this breakdown, I realize how many subtleties I have been missing in episodes I once dismissed. AMAZING work!
HO LEEE SHIT!
"Not until the sun rises in the west and sets in the east"… for me it’s like "not until the time turns back".. I have a feeling about Bran’s ability of time travel…
Brienne+Tormund= The Stallion who will Mount the World? Go, fanfictionwriters
Great stuff! Keep them coming!
29:55 Beware of jump scare
I want to see daenarys learn to use a sword
32:20 oy don’t you talk that way about Ramsey he just lost his brother, mother, dad, wife and his reek give him some time to mourn
Anyone else watching these in 2021 and seeing how many he got right
