Can I add the H202 in with my nutrients each week on DWC change out? For cannabis

Off the subject, but I was wondering where I might get Big Pig Tomato plant or seeds, that I saw in one of your earlier vids?

  4. @oscarrios6708 on April 22, 2024 at 9:17 am

Very interesting vid. Question for you? Did you adjust the PH when u applied the H2O2?

  5. @MrEagleeye58 on April 22, 2024 at 9:19 am

One thing you have to check is your airstone, it is slimey? I use a 200 Micron bag over my aerator inlet to prevent mould and other unknown unwanted stuff. I live in 86F water temperatures and root rot for me is just around the corner if I made some mistakes.

  6. @mediamaker2000 on April 22, 2024 at 9:19 am

I had that issue one and use Hygrozyme but it did nothing for the roots aside from finishing them off. I might not have applied it soon enough. Next time I’ll be trying it the way you and Brick do it! I give this video a Pythium free green thumbs up!

  7. @MrEagleeye58 on April 22, 2024 at 9:19 am

Chlorox works well for me, I use 20 ML per Liter dosage (4 Tablespoon per quart) of water and introduce it slowly into the nutrient container.  I walk around with a backpack of plain water mixed with the same amount of chlorox and spray it over the top of the pots so that it will also drip down.. so I kill all pathogens from the top and at the nutrient level. Eventually your filter will be full of dead roots that came off the plants.. Make sure that you try to cut down the heat from the sun if you can draw blinds, otherwise the plant may die due to heat exhaustion as the roots are not functioning well.

If anyone knows why after one day of applying voodoo juice to my reservoir i had a gel substance start growing on my roots. After two days the roots were covered in this light brown gel.The plants look good. no wilting.

  9. @cervpaul on April 22, 2024 at 9:20 am

Use bleach my friends. Inexpensive and works well. I change my nutrients every month. Not every week or two weeks because it simply doesn’t need it. On the change I add 2.12 millilitres / 4gal 6% sodium hypochlorite. Controls pythium rot.

how much h202 do i use to 1 gallon of water

  11. @donethos on April 22, 2024 at 9:23 am

I tried this and it appeared to work at first. After an hour and half I noticed deficiencies in the leaves. Switched reservoirs and added nutrients. I’ll hopefully have a positive update soon.

  12. @plips71755 on April 22, 2024 at 9:23 am

Needs to get to 3% strength.

  13. @DRcar4103 on April 22, 2024 at 9:23 am

Do you drain your res every tome you add hydrogenperoxide or do you just top it up with 10 more mills each fill?

  14. @rbbiefah on April 22, 2024 at 9:24 am

You said "3 mils per gallon? " Did you mean 3 mL per gallon ? and was that the 34% hydrogen peroxide shown ?

  15. @Thewicked on April 22, 2024 at 9:24 am

one thing i have used to cure root rot was by using a UVC light in my res tank that has my pump in it as well. I had tried H2O2 and some other stuff to kill my root rot problem and no luck. After 2 days using a UVC light everything was clearing up and after 4 days i had no more issues.

    uh

  19. @TK-ur2el on April 22, 2024 at 9:32 am

Hypochlorous acid work 100% better and is considerably cheaper

  20. @belizekaviar1263 on April 22, 2024 at 9:33 am

    I use 3% h202, 1:4, and you use 34‰??
i really understand why your plant is goind died before and now leaves ended small baby roots, 34% to much… with 9% or 11% you can burn your hair and head skin, while bleached your hair, the same as baby new grow roots of the plant….. I don’t eat the tomatoes, it’s also in it… 😕🙄🌴

  21. @chrisvilla2100 on April 22, 2024 at 9:35 am

You can run three ML‘s per gallon of 35% hydrogen peroxide from the gro store from propagation to the last week of harvest. Use as a preventative but be aware you cannot use beneficial microbes because the peroxide will kill them. If you don’t have 35% you can use store bought 3% and add between two and 3 teaspoons per gallon

  22. @DJoseph1970 on April 22, 2024 at 9:38 am

just started adding a weekly dose of hydroperoxide. the plants are happy. great tip.

  23. @6themaker on April 22, 2024 at 9:39 am

What if you just ran more air volume through the bubbler stone quicker maby running something designed for 100 gallon tanks in a 5 gallon bucket keep all possibility of chance of root rot

  24. @DoctorBabyJesusRDWC on April 22, 2024 at 9:40 am

I prefer beneficial bacterias to peroxide ( h2o2) . I also use cannazyme it converts dead root material to to good bacteria

  25. @Nightmare.308 on April 22, 2024 at 9:41 am

isnt that just 300 ml of 3%?

  26. @anonymoususer1378 on April 22, 2024 at 9:42 am

    Root juice works 10x better.

  27. @graemecouch5010 on April 22, 2024 at 9:42 am

Your not clear on how long you left that solution in system !

  28. @ramsesdelatorre996 on April 22, 2024 at 9:44 am

H202 is regular hydrogen peroxide right??

  29. @graemecouch5010 on April 22, 2024 at 9:45 am

Please speak more clearly and be more precise about how long to use this stuff.! I dont want to kill my good strains but rot is bad in mine.!
I think its from reusing airstones.!

  30. @Ibanezyt on April 22, 2024 at 9:46 am

    Watchable at 1.5 x speed..

  31. @SuperMeanny on April 22, 2024 at 9:47 am

I having problem with algae and someone recommend me h202. Based on ur video the best way is to add h202 for around 1-2 hours, dump it, replace with clean water only then wait for a week before adding nutrition as usual?

  32. @MyLittleGardenPlace on April 22, 2024 at 9:47 am

Thanks for being honest about your successes and failures. Great video! New to hydroponics. Helped me out. :0)

Water chiller that’s all you need . Keep the water at a temperature of 16c to 17c over 18c your in danger 👍🏻😎😉

  46. @runerune-_-9727 on April 22, 2024 at 10:03 am

how did you kill your plant with H2O2? I have seen hydro gardeners disinfect new cuttings in rockwool with a serious dose. Same i have seen gardeners dip their whole plant into H2O2 solutions, i am pretty sure its not the extra O2 which killed your plant tbh.

  47. @JohnPhillips2 on April 22, 2024 at 10:04 am

Could Hydroguard been a better choice? Especially as a preventive measure.

  48. @tangobayus on April 22, 2024 at 10:04 am

I haven’t done it yet but I’m thinking about juicing oregano and garlic and adding that to water. Cinnamon and tumeric are also antibacterial/antifungal. Grape Fruit Seed extract- I’ve used that on microgreens with good results.

  49. @graemecouch5010 on April 22, 2024 at 10:05 am

How long did you keep using H202 for.! I dosed my plants at recommended dose & it shocked my plants !
