Growing Autoflowers | Ep. 9 (Training & Trimming)

Growing Autoflowers | Ep. 9 (Training & Trimming)

Today I train the plant a little more as it explodes with new growth! I expect this autoflower to enter the flowering stage in only a few short weeks, so it’s important to stay on top of low stress training and even trim a bit here and there as it calls for it. The plant will quickly form a bushy shape, and without training, leaves will begin to cover the important growth tips. Follow along with me and learn to grow your own indoor cannabis plants easily!

How is the filter working for the smell? Thinking of getting a 2×2 for my apartment and worried about the smell.

I just topped my autos…..Bounced back in no time.

  11. Chris Barrier on July 5, 2022 at 10:51 pm

You don’t need to tie anything down just low stress training don’t cut anything off do not ever cut your auto flowers they do not have time to recover as they’re trying to build what’s called a scab over what you cut off instead of growing do not mess with auto flowers you can bend them so the bottom branches grow up just everyday been the top over and that will force the the bottom to grow up to the top no ropes no scissors been doing it for years

Yeah isn’t it cool to see the different tops rise to the light? It’s fun after harvest to examine the bones and structure of the plant

  13. whiteeagle on July 5, 2022 at 11:02 pm

How are ya beaver ? it’s a great idea to water your plant a few hours prior to low stress. I learned this myself when I broke a plant ,I taped it back with a small splint and it grew bigger than the others I guess the girl sent all of her energy to that branch and it worked out well. Rule number one genetics that’s a big part it . Attitude seed bank is a good bet,Dutch Passion incredable bulk.Stay safe

Maybe not even a gram …….2 grams 🤔

When u cut the little stem to save energy for the grow, doesn’t the plant need extra energy too to repair the damage…? Maybe she looses more on this wound then on the little stem…? How long does it take her to heal the cutting edge…?

  16. Mark Chambers on July 5, 2022 at 11:09 pm

  19. Nick barrett on July 5, 2022 at 11:12 pm

When do you suggest to stop lst

  20. dalan wanbdiska on July 5, 2022 at 11:28 pm

Yeah man. Thats what i did to mine and they are huge. Its wider than the pot . Im letting them grow upwards now so the buds are big. Theres like 30 tops or more. I got to count them. The stem gets thick doing this method. Super bushy. I took off all the shoots under the canopy.

A couple of suggestions mate :
    1. You could use all that extra space (its precious) by removing the non living objects kept around.
    2. Autoflowers don’t necessarily need that big a pot/bag. They live for around 3 months and their root structure does not get as big or wide.
