Growing Cannabis From Clones
Growing Cannabis From Clones
Professor DeBacco
Clones = Exact Copies
Clones are more properly called asexual vegetative propagation is a common method of propagation for cannabis and other plants.
Goal is to maintain exact chemical profile of the original plant which in some cases could be a genetic isolate.
Basic Cloning Process is Simple
Minimal materials are needed
Many are present in a general growing operation
How much resources you allocate will depend on the scale of your operation.
Simple Materials List
Stock/Mother Plant
Male plants can also be cloned for breeding purposes
However, plant material should not be an autoflower
Knife or even sharp scissors
Rooting Hormone
Will increase success rate
Propagation Environment
Diffused light (under 300 PAR)
High Relative Humidity: (90% RH)
Temperature: 78⁰F-82⁰F (25⁰C-28⁰C)
Rooting and Clones
Clones will form adventitious roots and will lack a central tap root that forms when starting with seeds.

Short sweet to the point, thanks
I am not confident about the way I clone my babies, but with the help of your video, I can be confident enough to do it on my own.
Thank you for the video sir.
For the past year my clones have pretty much taken off with a 90% success rate using a perpetual grow . This time only 1 took root, and I already put the others into flower. I’m scratching my head why this happened.
Wow, REALLY switching up the first line of the video here.
Have them under 850 PPFD with no issues, 99% success , hormones, exploding white thick roots, in a super cloner 12 6PH water no nuts 10cm cuttings, 2 stages under the sponge. White LEDs lm301h. 70% RH 23C (0.89 vpd) takes aprox 1 week to show roots than boom.
awesome info keep up the good work
Thank you Professor
