    Hey Cody i’m George first time grower in DWC I watch you pretty religiously learning quite a bit question is what kind of light do you use for “past seedling” stage?     I’m on my first attempt at dwc. I took a few clones from a mother I’ve had growing. My water temperature is about 75f. I’d like to lower it. I don’t want to put ice in my bucket. I was thinking I would set my bucket in a plastic tub and put ice in the tub to cool it from the outside of the bucket. Ever tried anything like that? If so did it work?

    I dont use a chiller … but i do use the water bottle method everyknow and then in the summer…. i dont mind the extra hassle of alternating bottles opposed to saving on energy running a chiller and the purchase of one. Just for 2 dwc buckets in a 2×4 which ive seen people do.

    I’m gonna call bullshit on the clone theory. These are just theories. Not actual facts. Theories and opinions. I have taken from the top and bottom. It had taken about the same amount of time. That’s just like they say to use cloning products. Could it help them along faster probably. Still might just be a gimmick. Who knows. I want cold hard proof that this is a fact. Other than that keep it opinions other than trying to say it’s a fact 🤣

    i dont use chiller , oxyboost 12 for add oxygen in water ( hot water = oxygen decrease ) , you welcom 🙂 (my temp water in winter/summer=25 celcius)

    DUDE DITCH the fucking buckets and use 8 or 10 inch tubes. Maximum Flow rate = Next to nothing in EC increase.Thus more control. Especially if you place a couple frozen 2 ltr bottles of water in the Rez. Cos of the High Flow rate the damn Nutes cool down! Well thats what you want to hear wasn’t it. ASK and you shall receive. Oh BTW Just by using 8 inch tubes you save a whopping HALF the amount of water and nutes your currently using FACT! Thank yourself later. Great video Great effort Great input to the community!

    Growing with LED’s you gotta maintain 82-84 degrees!!!! Below 82 and your indica plants just drop!!!
    I was running 77 all day long ,,,a week into the grow and my dog unplugged the in-line fan thus raising the temp to 88-90 degrees!!!! But immediately upon lowering the temp back down to 77 again the indica plants dimple went limp again ,,,so I slowly raised the temp to 78-80-82 at 82 the plants immediately responded and started praying hard,,,
    The sativa’s on the other hand ,,,70 -78 degrees no problem 82-84 degrees no problem,,,but those darker green indica
    Plants demand more heat ????

    Something ive done instead of a chiller is keep your air pump in a small beer fridge . Cools the water through the air stones . Cheap alternative

    Good stuff. As someone who doesn’t run a chiller and has higher water temps I find hydroguard is crucial to keeping root rot at Bay. I love the comment about the chiller and your reaction 😅

    Get an Ice probe thermoelectric aquarium chiller from Bulk Reef Supply. $120 each, but they work!! Just need that and an Inkbird ITC-308S submersible probe and…TA-DA, nice cold water set between any range u want it to be!!

    True if your in a room – you got some space for heat dispersion. Lights + Tent though? You need to chill your water, OR, make it much colder in the lung space outside the tent, to try and compensate.
