    UV + Co2 = 😍

  2. @newlife956 on June 28, 2024 at 11:33 am

According to Dr. Bruce Bugbee at Utah State University….UV has been shown in lab experiments to NOT INCREASE POTENCY……So currently there is no evidence to suggest that it does. If you have some evidence here, please do post it.

Very nice explantation now i also understand why the Migro support told me just to use it 2hrs a day for maximum 3 weeks in end of flower.

  4. @ahlers1977 on June 28, 2024 at 11:33 am

So is UV to be ran with or without the main grow lights on?

  5. @goatcity2266 on June 28, 2024 at 11:35 am

Get some PIZHLO 385nm LED strips and stick them around the edges of your main grow light or around the perimeter of your grow area. It may not have the same effect as pulsed UVB, but its alot safer, cheap, and an easy way to give your light spectrum more variety. The remote that comes with it allows you to dim or cycle it.

Will it put my plants into flower?

  7. @hackersystem8568 on June 28, 2024 at 11:37 am

I grew one year with led light that have no UV.
The harvest is good with good structure but when dried the buds are light with no sent and trichromes are little. Just added UVA to see if it changes.

  8. @Addyjoyful on June 28, 2024 at 11:38 am

Did uv light work on all plants?

  9. @33North33 on June 28, 2024 at 11:38 am

Really well put together and informative video. Good job!

While everything I have heard on here is accurate with all current studies you did leave out that while increasing terps and oils it can decrease over all bio mass. Meaning lower total yield. Pros and cons. Not just pros

I use Agromax pureVeg +UV – best seed to finish out there .. also use Agromax pureUV from 6 weeks to harvest… I have a CLW uvb lamp but found it lacking in size when compared to Agromax pureUV…. I also use a growmau led booster bar from rapidled with uva, 660 red & 730 far red.. these are just the supplemental lights I run with my regular full spectrum led lights… you have to feed them differently 😅 if not they can get burnt easily or throw deficiencies when running UV. We been doing this for 15 -20 yrs with solacure or tanning bed/reptile lights.. thankfully we have better options now. Digital timers ftw , ramp up in time on duration start low and work up to 15 min increments.. really gotta know your cultivars and what the lady’s like. Led is only good for uva … UVB is only effective in florescent form atm.. the led tech just isn’t there yet.

    UVA – Alright
    UVB – Bad
    UVC – Cancer

  17. @williambock1821 on June 28, 2024 at 11:56 am

More interested in preventing mold than increasing secondary metabolites. We’re all swimming in secondary metabolites anyway these days. 😂

More then 10 minutes and uva 385nm will burn small holes in cannabis plants 🍃 leaves

    Great channel man 🤘
    I’m running the Migro UVB310.
Let’s just say, for the Quality and cost.
    Well worth the investment.

  20. @MichaelSmith-wc8kc on June 28, 2024 at 12:01 pm

I run UV 12 hrs a day. For the full 12/12. If i run in veg i do 12 hrs. Terpene production starts in veg.

🤔Found this very informative. You have any recommendations on brand of
u v a or u v b lights? Where to get them home depot amazon reptile store? How much wattage per square foot? Thank you.

this information is corroborated by elsewhere and obvious biology. however, you recommended people wear "sunscreen" in the presence of sunlight ostensibly to block UV B rays at the propaganda directive originally of the dermatology and cancer industries. the fact that you do not know that, when it has been plastered all over the internet for two decades, makes you an incompetent fake expert because you are instructing on a complex subject while displaying huge ignorance on a very basic scientific subject. I appreciate your beneficial information but you are effectively also promoting industries of death and maiming for profit indirectly by kicking the "sunscreen" proverbial can down the dumb american road…

  25. @hehawkiller on June 28, 2024 at 12:12 pm

Just skip all this nonsense and start growing outside 🤣
I always start my girls indoors in the spring then transition them outdoors once the nights start getting warmer.

Good one and I learned a lot!.

  28. @MegaHaiQ on June 28, 2024 at 12:15 pm

I use 2x15w 368nm uv bulbs from mid veg to harvest all the time on when my leds are ( In nature sun will not turn off time to time 😀 ), when i flip to flower i allso drop my temps to 20-23 and try to make it as dry as possible ( Not under 20% thats bad! ) I can promise if you gorw with this combo in good soil ( I use only biobizz lightmix and biobizz juices + ash ) you will get insanely sugary plants and potent af, tricome production goes thru the roof just in the first weeks of flowering.

Always an interesting topic! Thanks for covering this 🙂

  30. @user-xv8gl1vb6r on June 28, 2024 at 12:18 pm

I have two tents, I conducted experiments with 4 varieties, that’s it! absolutely 1000%! those that were grown in a tent with uva are stronger in strength than their sisters without uva! if you give it to an ignorant person, he will prove that these are different varieties)! They always work for me! and yes, the yield is smaller! choose weight or strength! I forgot to add the most important factor! Keep the temperature 20-22 Celsius no more! this also gives strength! I only have a mini air conditioner for tents! I need cold! Ultraviolet light is needed! combination!

  31. @patrickgagne8795 on June 28, 2024 at 12:20 pm

I’ve done several tests with uvb with cannabis plants in flower. Here’s my take away. LED uvb lights are not effective in our tests. Our best results was with using 2 4’ 80w fluorescent fixtures hooked onto bar style led (680w) lights with proper uvb bulbs. The lights were best at 24-28” from the canopy. Here’s where it counts. Only started giving uvb for 10-15mins at the beginning of week 5 of flower right in the middle of the light cycle. Then add 5 mins every week till harvest. We had no lose of productions but our thc and terps shot up 25-30%. I.e thc would be 20% without and 24-26% with uvb. Drawback..cost for fixtures and proper bulbs are pricey. Really pricey. However, in a commercial environment, it gives a great edge.

  32. @henryknox4511 on June 28, 2024 at 12:20 pm

How often does the sun turn the UV down during daytime? Does it cycle off and on like your suggestion? Shouldn’t the concept be too recreate the same light as sunlight? Far and IR red run all day long too. The difference between a plant under sunlight and one under an led spectrum is significant so I’m sure the light mfg are missing out on some parts of the spectrum recipe for sure.

Warning don’t use that sunscreen it contains carcinogen cancer causing chemicals we have been lied to on everything ⚠️✌️🙏

  35. @robertthrem3382 on June 28, 2024 at 12:24 pm

The last ten days flower turn on 10 mins before you normally would turn your reg light off. But only have the uvb on

  36. @nativesugarshack9328 on June 28, 2024 at 12:25 pm

In the current flower cycle I’m running UVA (365-420nm) for the 2nd, 6th, and 10th hrs of the 12 hour period starting in week 6. Seems to be doing ok, I’ve seen no damage that I can attribute to UVA. As for beneficial results, lab testing will tell the tale. I provide samples to a lab for testing potency & terps (P&T) after every run 😊👍

You spelled thicker like a Crip lol

  38. @garytan3531 on June 28, 2024 at 12:27 pm

So… if i were to distance my UV lights from the plants.. so i could on the UV lights for a longer period? Because of the wavelength reaching the plants seems lesser
