Holdup On Pot Legalization In N.J. Centers On Dispute Over Minors' Possession Penalties

Eleven days into the new year, Gov. Phil Murphy has yet to be able to sign legislation officially legalizing adult use marijuana and decriminalizing it. As CBS2’s Meg Baker reports, the holdup seems to be with what is being called a “cleanup bill.”

This WHOLE thing was NEVER about kids.. and its illy to use the term underage because they are more worried about the legal adults between 18-20 being in possession, then children. So essentially their worries about the other adults that they’ve excluded from this and now have held it up for THE 2ND OR THIRD TIME NOW. This is becoming ridiculous. 🙄
