yes to this. Canada is doing just fine with the legalization of weed. We can do the same.

  5. zgft L on May 15, 2022 at 6:33 pm

"legalizing drugs" "getting America high" yet hard liquor, cigarettes, deadly prescription drugs, giant monster trucks, limitless guns & live ammo, bombs & nukes are legal etc etc. Hah ok. "They’re gonna use tax payer dollar to fund the marijuana industry!" Yet billions of tax payers dollar goes to private prisons & police funding to jail those for marijuana plant "offenses". Nothing is more Murican!

I’m conservative and I’m for it. There are a lot of conservatives but actually are for it. In fact I’m willing to say that they lied about being dangerous for ulterior reasons. From what I understand it was completely safe in the seventies and that were no reason for it being banned they just did it. I can think the only reason they would do that is because of pharmaceutical companies you can’t have something that works then you’re taking money out of their pockets. In the mindset of the pharmaceutical companies you can’t have something that’s healthy that works because they’re taken from their pocket. I think it was all just them trying to silence the benefits.

  7. mdslick1 on May 15, 2022 at 6:37 pm

They’ll give meth pipes out with tax payers money but have a hard time making weed legal?

  8. Big Pint16 on May 15, 2022 at 6:40 pm

Y’all B’s drug stores all around the world sell everyday off tax ppl money and they cause the most addiction

  9. James on May 15, 2022 at 6:41 pm

The fact that he calls something that isn’t processed a drug meanwhile alcohol needs to be fermented and rotted just blows my mind. You can bet you’re ass that guy drinks too

  10. Ted Jones on May 15, 2022 at 6:42 pm

    Pass it guys lets go

  11. Tristan Boyd on May 15, 2022 at 6:43 pm

Im a conservative republican and I support legalization.

  12. Galaxy Infinity on May 15, 2022 at 6:44 pm

It’s not any better than alcohol if not better cause in some sinces it helps with pain and health problems and it’s not any wores than having a beer after work and just think about this that beer and cigarets been around for a long time now we have drunks and people addicted to cigarets and they do more harm than weed like cancer and liver problems from drinking all the other drugs have killed more people weed should be legal and just treat like beer

  13. Michael Mashburn on May 15, 2022 at 6:44 pm

Just legalize it. It shouldn’t be this difficult.

  14. Bob Stone on May 15, 2022 at 6:45 pm

I like the guy who claims marijuana marketing is using tax dollars. Something like 45% of marijuana sales is tax. Gave is making plenty of tax revenue off it, the real issue is big pharmaceutical companies are scared they’ll sell less Xanax n anti depression pills if weed is legal, and we can grow weed n the back yard. Meanwhile congress members have invested into benzos and big pharmaceutical so they wanna protect their investments

  15. Juls Garriott on May 15, 2022 at 6:45 pm

It’s legal here in Oregon with a few stupid exceptions-"illegal grows" & federal/military owned land which, includes a park in downtown (where 2 of us were threatened by 4 cops b/c someone smelled weed). Also, some are still uncool about pot.

  16. joey c on May 15, 2022 at 6:49 pm

    Aoc sounds ignorant

  17. Captain Obvious on May 15, 2022 at 6:50 pm

the whiners are so stupid, the people who don’t wanna smoke it won’t have to, you’ll be fine, sit the fuck down 😆

  18. Jean-Jacques Reibel on May 15, 2022 at 6:51 pm

AOC is as dull as an unleaded mechanical pencil, but this should be legalized. Not sure why some Republicans are against it. It would be taxed like anything else. Alcohol is far more dangerous than marijuana. Seems like some AA people in the senate are scared for nothing.

  19. JEWELS on May 15, 2022 at 6:52 pm

BY THE WAY AS LONG AS THEY HAVE YOU HIGH AND DRUNK THEY CAN LIE TO YOU ABOUT ANYTHING AND GET AWAY WITH PASSING LAWS AND YOU WONT KNOW WHAT HIT YOU

  20. David on May 15, 2022 at 6:53 pm

  21. Ted Jones on May 15, 2022 at 6:55 pm

The war on drugs targeted white people too.

  22. Sonny on May 15, 2022 at 6:57 pm

As if tobacco has any value to society. It’s the most unhealthy shit you can put in your body, yet you can get it the same place you buy your kids candy bars. Politicians are fuckin stupid

  23. Charles Goodwin on May 15, 2022 at 6:59 pm

This is only One Issue that fully discloses why Americans should never allow the Republican Party to ever regain Control of America ever again. They are State Capitalists I.e., State Communists!!!
This is why We need to erratically Republicans out of every corner and crevices of US Policy Making!!!!

  25. Brendan Schmitz on May 15, 2022 at 7:01 pm

Take to the streets and demand it be legal! This is long overdue. The war on drugs is bullshit.

  26. Elevated Emotions on May 15, 2022 at 7:02 pm

The MORE act is set to raise a 5% tax for the first year and up to a 8% tax thereafter…the Senate CAO bill wants a 25% tax increase right away…and In negotiations this April thus the reason the MORE act is likely to fail. Not because they don’t want Cannabis to become Federally legal but because they want more larger amounts for their own pockets ☹️

  27. Ally Cat on May 15, 2022 at 7:02 pm

"we are here today to vote to get America high" 😂😂 I’d vote

  29. Joseph Boyer on May 15, 2022 at 7:03 pm

No thanks theres no damn reason that the bill is 4,000 pages instead of just legalizing it you have to make sure everyone knows that it’s a burn loot murder backed bill and is skewed in racism instead of just saying for years we screwed up we are sorry we are decriminalizing cannabis

  30. JEWELS on May 15, 2022 at 7:05 pm

This is what happened to the kids in my high school. That slept from being high through class. They now run the White House go figure.

So state laws trumps federal laws how does that work

  36. 2MidgetsInaTrenchCoat on May 15, 2022 at 7:11 pm

The fact that this is still subject to such naivety is a shame. Cannabis has the potential to save ourselves from runaway greenhouse gases, reinvent the textile industry, and heal us and we’re still making jokes about a near century old film with information just as outdated. Shame on those who vote against reason and logic.

  37. Nighthawk Viper on May 15, 2022 at 7:13 pm

What’s funny is this is still being debated LMAO I told everyone back on 2012 that it’d take another 20yrs for the Boomers who initiated the War on Drugs to die off before it would become legal. Too many Iran Contra ops going on, too much demand for a "boogeyman" to endlessly spend endlessly increasing taxes to "fight." 😂 Too easy for a single patrolman to go pick up $10K worth of fines everyday on private-use potheads in every town in Murica. Yuri was right, they’ve really eroded this entire nation through low morale and subversive tactics.

  41. Gary Pavlick on May 15, 2022 at 7:16 pm

Has anyone ever heard of prohabition? There’s a sucker born every minute! Oh, food can no longer be grown outside. Not even a weed! But, food can be grown inside! Opposed to weed. So, keep up the good work stoners. The feds will be coming soon. And, you’ll be growing at least 2 thirds food. At very cheap price. Opposed to 100 percent weed at a very steep price. Did you stoners really think you were gonna rule the world with weed?? OMG. Talk about being too high!! This is hilarious! Your a farmer now! And, will grow food. Or, simply have your property ceased and technology. And, or put completely out of farming business completely. Ah?! Prohabition law’s still exist. Idiots!

If pots legal. That would mean the DEA would have to chase real criminals for federal funding. As a former Government Agent, I must say, nothing is worse then having to actually earn your paycheck to these guys.

if the senate could somehow make this into law on 4/20, it will literally restore my faith in mankind.
