I’m not complaining about how airport luggage staff handling our baggage just feel sad when my staff are bursting and broke after many heavy baggage on top of each other, especially mine.
Anyway, it is what it is.

We are couple, Daniel (from USA) & Sros (Bella) from Cambodia, we love to travel. Currently, we live East Africa but mostly we travel to Cambodia and Thailand. Our current vlog.

Maybe buy a hard plastic/aluminum suitcase? Rimowa makes great luggage I recommend them, pricy but you’ll have it for the rest of your days
When i was in thailand and i was flyig thailand to paris and then my thing was missing my bag came but my perfume and my food was missing its was in January 15 2024 and we dont find it cuz all the other bag was with a band so you have to get a number to unlock it but not the 1 bag and its so weird
This is why hard shell cases are useful. They are built to be stacked solidly.

The only people that know what’s in your bag are you and TSA. Fleet Service Clerks have no idea. It’s really nothing personal or intentional.

when i was traveling with my family in june or july. when we went to baggage claim. one of the baggages plastic broke. only from the top. we wondered why until i stumbled across this video.

Question: Is that why they make hard shell and soft shell luggage? Not for personal preference, but for purpose?
I.E. hard shell if a baggage handler is going to throw it. Or soft shell if you’re loading the bags yourself into your car for a cross-country road trip?

I was a ground staff for airline i sometimes helped loaders to load bags from pallets to containers so it can get on arrival belts and the trick is we throw the bags like a shortput balls 😂 u just have to pray for ur bags 😂

That is normal way, i used to do that back then… do not buy cheap luggage, the legs is where you get the most damage.

The one who owns that bag hasn’t seen how most of those guys throw those bags, long distances 😬they have broken so many things for me… I had worked with them… they make fun of me if I try to be careful… too many bags to be gentle… but you get paid to do a good job… not right to mishandle a bag just because it’s not yours 🥴

It’s normal thing …and it won’t break …it’s only 3bags on to the top..think about inside cargo hold that how many bags to be load above onto your bag …Mostly broken baggage reason is overweight, low quality bags, or in case not handling proper .
I don’t see how packing the inside could have any advance warning of how it will resist challenges on the airport transport trolley?
My luggage is made by Monos. I put their luggage cover over the bag and then wrap clear shipping tape over the plastic liner…the clear shipping tape protects the luggage cover from rips and tears from the airport conveyor belts and the ruff handing…the luggage cover protects the suitcase from scuffs and scratches…my Monos luggage still looks perfect after a few internation and domestic flights..you have to spend the extra money on good luggage instead of the bargain luggage you see at Walmart or farmers markets if want your luggage to survive the airports…quialty matters

This isnt the problem.the conveyor belts have pistons that pushes the luggage to a different belt, those pistons have alotta force.
