Thanks for the info. I’m about to try coco for the first time after this run. Currently rocking dwc. I was trying to figure out pot size. This video was just in time.

Hey mate, keep up the great growing vidz… I’ve got a couple questions for ya… do your plants not get root bound in these small 1 gallon bags? Isn’t bigger better? Bigger roots equal bigger fruits?

high frequency fertigation imho is how you get results in coco comparable to dwc. maintaining 90-100% hydration. of course auto watering is needed to maximise this otherwise its 3 times a day lights on lights off and somewhere in the middle ").
it also helps regulate a more constant nutrient concentration which obviously lends itself to better growth rates as the plant doesnt have to keep adapting to fluctuating EC levels.
some people can only maybe water once a day for whatever reason. you can but its not best practice for unlocking the potential of coco

Agree. 1-2 gal always works for me.
    Thanks DF!

So say, for instance, if you’re running a 5 gallon pot, can I put 2 1/2 gallons of Coco and 2 1/2 gallons of happy frog soil and mix it all together and put it into my 5 gallon pot and mix a 50-50 blend of cocoa and happy frog and use that
