Here are the top 4 tips on using the bud leaf trimmer.

You still dry normally and a video on how to hang dry can be seen here:

The first tip is rapid dry the exterior of the buds by dropping humidity after hang drying for 2 hours at 45% humidity. This will give the buds a brittle exterior, making it much easier for the trimmer.

Next, you want to buck the buds so that all stems are completely removed and as many fan leaves that site on the underside of buds are as well. There is a perfect location in between the nugs and the fan leaf and cutting at these locations will save a lot of time.

Dont overfill. It will have buds rolling on top of each other and the idea is to try to let every side of the bud roll on top of the screen so that everything excess is trimmed.

Last, slow steady rotations.

By following these top tips, you can have quality trimming results in a quarter of the time. Error in the video, I started with 11.8 ounces, ended with 9.2, so 2.6 ounces of leaves was automatically trimmed off.

Here is a video on how to Automatically Cure Buds:

All of these tips can be used with any bowl leaf trimmer including the ones made by the brands Spider Farmer, Vivosun, iPower, AC Infinity, and even Risentek

That’s one way to do it! I wanna start washing but I don’t think I have the patience. Personally, when my buds come out subpar, I shuck and direct to press em. Either way, ain’t nobody got time to trim them 😂. Keep it up man.

Did you make a video of how you used the trimmings? What’s the best practice?

  4. @jpc67nova on April 6, 2024 at 9:16 am

I’m not up to that point yet. But eventually I may purchase an auto trim.😊

Those buds were picked a few weeks too early. You want your pistils to recede into the bud and swell atleast 1-2 weeks even after that. Other than that, excellent video.

I had one and seen a big pro trimmer. The rubber fingers are too long it rolls the flowers to much. I think there is a adjustment so the fingers are even With the screen❤ I cut mine then seen the adjuster lol

Do you use the serrated or straight blade ?

  12. @RoundBoy666 on April 6, 2024 at 9:29 am

Who cares what it looks like as long as it tastes good and does its job. Appearance is the last thing that I’m worried about in a trim.

  14. @AmmerSlammer on April 6, 2024 at 9:37 am

Do you use the sharp blade or the dull blade for dry nugs? I have always trimmed wet buds in it and used the sharp blade but I am getting ready to trim some dry buds and it says to use the dull blade for dry.

I’m going to order one closer to harvest. Thnx for the promo, I’ll definitely use it. ✌️

  28. @xhardcorexsupportx on April 6, 2024 at 9:58 am

Just take care of the fan leafs when tha plant is still fresh and let the sugar leaf be trimmed dry by drum

  29. @antagonizerr on April 6, 2024 at 10:02 am

Dude you should be pinching off your fan leaves a couple days before harvest, not after drying. You’re losing soooo much THC and polluting your sugar leaf with crap fan material which means weaker hash, oil or whatever you use it for.
