Will this six bucket pvc system fit in a 5×5 tent?
I use this small system for vedge for 12 plants then my bud room has 10 totes 30 gallon each 2 big net cups in each one i use 2 inch pvc and run through the center of each tote so i pick up my 10 best plants move from vedge to flower after my ph is the same and my ppm are perfect water temp in the bud room runs at 60 degrees out of the T into a pump on the ground straight into my chiller and out the other side into my control bucket my control bucket has 2 inch going out both sides so my nutrients run evenly down each side to the T up to my chiller to my control bucket 7 times per hour i use green house 2 part fertilizer AnB with epsom salt and belive me im getting very high yields .This has became pretty easy after 15 years make sure you test your ppms daily and your ph ill do 2 week nutrient changes .

The problem with this setup is that the water level will need to be constantly maintained manually. The res height determines the entire system water level height. It would have been better to bring the outlet out an the desired water level height on each bucket. This way the res can empty but all the buckets will still be full

Hey man great video just got a question
I have a very similar setup in a submersible pump the question when filling up the buckets from res do you fill the res up and then turn pump on to push nutes through or do you allow the res to fill up buckets manually if so does that mean you need to have your res the same level

I put a 5×5 tray under all the buckets and then use an external pump. You can avoid leaks spilling downstairs and not warm the water

Could you please upload a video over how you feed, topping off, and ppm. I am having a little hard time understanding if you keep the ppm the same throughput the week or let it gradually deplete till next feeding time.

Run the drill in reverse makes a much cleaner hole
Pro tip try hole saw in reverse
Try running your drill in reverse after the pilot pierces..it will be alot cleaner and less likely to crack and hang up

If you grow them from clones to full flower in this setup, will you have to clean the buckets the plants are in before harvest? Or just the reservoir ? If so how many times would you clean it within a whole grow?
i was thinking to make a system but just get a big bin and grow 2 or 3 in the same container in a 4×2 ,maybe different strain ,defintly different pheno , in like a 210 l bin ,how big a pump should i get u think??

Your system’s gonna overflow bro. Root ball will block such small diameter return pipes. I’d recommend at least 50mm if not larger returns.

My system empties the reservoir bucket and doesn’t fill it back quickly enough. 25 gallon 4 site with 370 gph feed pump in the reservoir.

What type of bulkhead fittings should I use. I would need 9 right. While I’m bugging you, have u had any experience or knowledge of a 1/10hp water pump from harbor freight. It’s not submersible as it would be outside my tent with my reservoir.
