I’ll be using an external pump for mine for many different reasons , I reccomend everyone else do the same thing , th sprayers are up way to high

  4. Richard on July 14, 2022 at 9:45 pm

That appears to be droplets and not mist. Would fewer nozzles create an actual mist?

  5. Wiam Haddani on July 14, 2022 at 9:46 pm

    nice

I don’t know if any of you noticed.
But this guy didn’t answer anybody’s questions.
And never did another video showing his results with this system.

I bet he ran into problems.

First thing you never want your pump in your grow chambers.

Then his on run time is way way way to long.
Especially with his roots already hanging in his warm nutrient solution.
Your nutrient solution temperature shouldn’t get over 75 degrees.
65 to 70 degrees works best.

These systems are really easy to make.

A parts list is kinda hard to give out due to things like.
The size of your grow chambers and how far your reservoir is from your grow chambers.
Use a hose to hook your reservoir to your grow chambers. And for your drain at the bottom of your grow chambers.
    They make pvc nipples this.

I’ve never grown this way from seed. I clone everything.
With little areo cloners I built.
The cloners are the only thing i keep the pump in the grow chambers, because the pump needs to run 24/7. No on off times.

I hope I answered some of your questions for some of you.

Oh for the size of your pump. That depends on the size of your grow chambers.
And how many grow chambers you want to feed at once.
    I just use pond pumps.
I use the smallest they make for the cloners.

I can’t remember the size i use to feed my two grow chambers. It’s not the biggest they make, I think it’s the next size down.

    Anyway good luck to everyone.

How did you connect the pvc with the pump?

  9. ray sayers on July 14, 2022 at 9:55 pm

Could anyone give me a rough idea of how much it would cost to make this setup

  10. IDI THANGI channel on July 14, 2022 at 9:56 pm

Great job 👏 excellent work 🤝

  11. Usman Yasin on July 14, 2022 at 9:57 pm

Why don’t you use an ultrasonic mist maker instead? That’d be way cheaper in contrast.

  12. RedPaw on July 14, 2022 at 9:58 pm

    That’s hydroponics not aeroponics

  13. Lan Huynh on July 14, 2022 at 9:59 pm

    Which timer do you recommend?

  14. Rajat Chaudhari on July 14, 2022 at 9:59 pm

Can you provide link for purchasing those products from Amazon?

Followed all the measurements and it didn’t line up???

  16. Eduardo Barbosa on July 14, 2022 at 10:02 pm

For a 80 Liters gallon can I use wich pump?

  17. TM69 on July 14, 2022 at 10:05 pm

Thank you for the video. It was very informative and helps to realize it’s not so difficult. Also this seems fantastic allowing the plants much more oxygen. Do you guys have a build for a tower aeroponics?

  18. Kevin Luo on July 14, 2022 at 10:11 pm

    Cool

  19. Jared Swisher on July 14, 2022 at 10:11 pm

That moment off camera when he realized he drilled the holes for the micro irrigation misters on the bottom. Oh well flip the t-neck for the center riser and pretend it never happened.

  20. TM69 on July 14, 2022 at 10:13 pm

I was thinking about using a pvc cap as the sprinkler cause it’s been hard to find the jet sprays by drilling 1/16 drill bit holes with each direction they need to go do you think that would work

  21. Andrew Wilson on July 14, 2022 at 10:13 pm

    May-surements

    Masure twice, cut onc3

  24. Beth Richardson on July 14, 2022 at 10:14 pm

Great video! I would love to pick your brain about a system I want to set up in a tiny home. Rather than a self-contained system, I want to use a single barrel of water & nutrients to feed several (shorter) bins of plants. Trying to figure out the best pump and timer. Also, how do you start the seedlings? Thanks!

How come an accumulator isnt being used?

  28. Mel Meunier on July 14, 2022 at 10:17 pm

where can i purchase a systemlike this to learn with

  29. Timothy Adams on July 14, 2022 at 10:22 pm

Where did you purchase you pump? That the only I’m not certain about purchasing, until I have further details.

  30. jayzlyko Boy on July 14, 2022 at 10:24 pm

Instead of nutrient water can’t we use water from a fish tank just like aquaponic

  31. Mike Tesnohlidek on July 14, 2022 at 10:25 pm

What size pump are you using?

  32. Angel KM on July 14, 2022 at 10:25 pm

Using that size pump are you having any problems with your nutrient solution getting too hot

  33. dustin bova on July 14, 2022 at 10:25 pm

Would that type of plastic be good to use though? Is it food grade plastic? Is there any worry of chemical leach?

  34. Gábor Hraskó on July 14, 2022 at 10:25 pm

Can you recommend a missting nozzle pack similar that is used in the video?

  35. ASS OG on July 14, 2022 at 10:32 pm

This is not a areo system.
This is more of a hydro system.

I’ve been running LPA ( Low Pressure Areoponics) systems for about 7 year’s now.

I’ve got 4 systems, which consist of 2, 21 site grow chambers with 1 reservoir.
The 2 grow chambers measure 3’x3′, this way I can use 1, 3’x3′ LED light over each system.

The manifolds sit in the grow chambers.
The pump sits in the reservoir.
Every 20 minutes the pump comes on and sprays the roots in the grow chamber for 10 seconds.
Then the solution drains back into the reservoir.
This way the roots aren’t sitting in the solution all the time.
I believe this guy will have problems with this system.

Looks like the ROOT ROT HOTEL……….

    Stolen from "Family Plot" !

  37. Will Viers on July 14, 2022 at 10:34 pm

would it be possible to get a complete list of all the materials? Thank you 🙂

  38. Bob Campbell on July 14, 2022 at 10:35 pm

Doesn’t the water drip out from under the lid? I’d suggest pointing the nozzles down or better yet finding a way to place the lid withing the sides of the tub.

  39. Eric Haney on July 14, 2022 at 10:37 pm

greatest video ever was gonna do hydroponics but the informative nature of this video compelled me to do aeroponics good work and thank you so so much for being so helpful. Fucking legend🙏

  40. badfish on July 14, 2022 at 10:38 pm

    thank you

  41. Atom izer on July 14, 2022 at 10:38 pm

    This is a sprinklerponic/dwc hybrid.

  42. Kaylie Stevens on July 14, 2022 at 10:39 pm

wouldnt it have been easier to just measure the interior of the tub then just build it on the desk? then just sit it in the tub when its done

  43. Dingo Simoes on July 14, 2022 at 10:39 pm

Hi ! alright ? I’ve always made clones in a conventional way, for years I have 100% effectiveness in cloning in soil. But I made my own ez cloner machine, and I’m going to try to learn this technique with this machine… do you leave the water pump on 24hrs?

  44. James Smith on July 14, 2022 at 10:40 pm

When he starts to drill the nozzle holes I’m literally screaming at the screen "It’s upside down!! You’re drilling the wrong side!!"
