    nice

You taken the complication out of doing this project! Thanks so much. I see you’ve run 2 lines from the pump for 2 buckets. I’ve not even begun to get necessary items and try this. Is that the most you can run off of one pump? Wonder and helpful video!

  3. @BlackSmurfPunk on December 10, 2023 at 3:16 am

to loud in the end. 🤨

Using clear tubing for water level indicator nearly killed my plants with Pythium & Rot. Just drill hole & use plug.!

  5. @LooshChipper on December 10, 2023 at 3:19 am

how are people filling water with this setup? just pouring it thru the stones when needed? cracking the top would seem to be a problem down the line with some decent sized plants in there

  6. @iainbambury1888 on December 10, 2023 at 3:19 am

We’re do u by the. Pots. And. The. Net pot to for on to bit. Cheep I’m from Scotland

  7. @cutznfadez4683 on December 10, 2023 at 3:22 am

You should have a gap between the bottom of the mesh bucket and the top of the water surface thus allowing the plant to air prune it’s roots

  8. @omareo4111 on December 10, 2023 at 3:25 am

    This is a masterpiece

  9. @jessetodd-tj5pf on December 10, 2023 at 3:26 am

water level indicator won’t be of any use IMO it’s bent what’s it good for if the water cant move freely thru the tubing? and try air discs you’ll get more bubbles.

  10. @austingrows5435 on December 10, 2023 at 3:26 am

Hahaha we got the same drill and setup

  11. @vor-tex7730 on December 10, 2023 at 3:30 am

Use blue tinted hose for the water level. Algae will build up with the clear hose due to light penetration.

  12. @riverajesus9241 on December 10, 2023 at 3:30 am

Really cool tks for guidance 👍

This is THE BEST VIDEO EVER! No b*******, no cutesy chat… Just the facts. And very clearly shown. Thank you so much.

  16. @falafalman on December 10, 2023 at 3:35 am

The clear tubes are cut to short and have kinks reducing the flow, as well as being clear they will get green algae fast, black tubes are best for this

  17. @orangejuicejoe1762 on December 10, 2023 at 3:35 am

    Poor job

  18. @PropagandaMinister on December 10, 2023 at 3:36 am

I have a question, for a 6 bucket dwc system; how much gph should my air pump be?

  19. @misterkim6206 on December 10, 2023 at 3:36 am

Right on! Still helping people 2 years later. Gonna buy a new drill right now. Mahalo!

  20. @isaacosorio2797 on December 10, 2023 at 3:40 am

  22. @ttommy2131 on December 10, 2023 at 3:45 am

How often do you have to change the water and nuternizer?

  23. @dominicbriggs1182 on December 10, 2023 at 3:48 am

U hadmyour zip ti the wrong way round

  24. @goodtogrow7774 on December 10, 2023 at 3:48 am

  25. @bigmoe3848 on December 10, 2023 at 3:50 am

    elbow

  26. @darrinv.1553 on December 10, 2023 at 3:51 am

Nice kinked hoses, I’m sure that’s accurate 😂

  27. @russelltonnesen6711 on December 10, 2023 at 3:51 am

Elbow bulkheads are available and wont kink the clear tubing. Swing it to the left to drain spent mix and back to a snap clamp or ring but not a (tightened) tie-wrap.

  28. @dominicbriggs1182 on December 10, 2023 at 3:52 am

Yiu should have you air stone raised slightly so not touching bottom of tank it will do away with flipping noise

  29. @boutrosboutrosboutrosboutros on December 10, 2023 at 3:54 am

Nice! FYI, when drilling into the bucket, go for highest speed, and very slowly introduce pressure to the drill bit and it wont chunk up.

  30. @emrahkartay689 on December 10, 2023 at 3:55 am

Hello. How often is the water in the reservoir changed?

  31. @stevecarlyle4305 on December 10, 2023 at 3:56 am

Should have used a 12 inch 90 degree elbow so the water level viewer is not crimped LOL

  32. @drteef8922 on December 10, 2023 at 3:57 am

Looks more like a bubble bucket not "dwc" still cool tho

  33. @refink33 on December 10, 2023 at 3:58 am

that "water level indicator" is so ghetto. Don’t do that people. there are simple 90 degree elbows designed for such use case. Plus, you NEED a blue hose tube. Not clear. Clear will grow algae. ignore everything this dude says

  34. @rayalvarez7247 on December 10, 2023 at 3:59 am

The fitting can be found where? Varied sizes?

  35. @Yourname-tq1gz on December 10, 2023 at 4:00 am

Won’t the roots clog the small pipes?

  36. @nunyabizz6767 on December 10, 2023 at 4:00 am

Any root rot problems without chiller

  37. @Nagarsonu on December 10, 2023 at 4:03 am

  43. @theoellis. on December 10, 2023 at 4:06 am

Thanks for this vid. Did you have any issues with algae using a clear water level indicator pipe?

  44. @jesusorozco3788 on December 10, 2023 at 4:07 am

  45. @ivanzamora9683 on December 10, 2023 at 4:07 am
