My favorite dome was made by munots.
It was yellow unfortunately but it was stronger and tighter fitting than mondi offerings now.
Anyone remember vita-lite power twist fluorescents?
    My old school is showing.✌️

Good tips, I also noticed that more red light helps rooting. Pc

Awesome i did not know that about the node and that its importent where to make the cut when making clones ..
Could be why i did not have 100% succes rate last time i made clones

  6. Tyler on May 25, 2022 at 7:53 am

How would u keep the mother plant happy cause after a few months and it just yellows and just keeps yellowing and transplant it and still yellowing why thanks dgc

  7. BigJ on May 25, 2022 at 7:55 am

Deff find it takes way longer if your watering your cubes before roots pop. If you set the the room too 80/80 in your prop room you shouldn’t need to water till roots pop

  8. Tyler on May 25, 2022 at 7:57 am

Guru u have to open it so u don’t get whit powder Mold need fresh air

  9. Crazy Hand Grows on May 25, 2022 at 7:59 am

Didn’t know you had to cut the clones at the node! Cannafact for the day done! I haven’t cloned anything yet, but am about to be set up to have a space for a couple mothers so this was very helpful, thanks dudes.

strong stem, 4-5 internodes , 1 shoot , bury 1 internode in medium, place in plastic bag, poke one hole every day , spray 1 time every day til day 3 . day 7-10 finished.. .. or just stick a branch in the medium and wait 12-14 days .. 😉

KISS, KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID.. cut a growing branch to size , put in medium, spray it 3 times a day for 3 days , humidity 70 + or tent.

When it comes to cloning try not to overthink it. Its all in your prep. Choose your cuts carefully and cut them cleanly. Put them in the dome with their heat pad with some water in the bottom and leave them be. Dont open them. Pop the vent for a few mins to exchange air once a day and leave them be. Most ppl stress them by messing with them. They know what to do let them do their thing.

  13. Dirty DoughBoy on May 25, 2022 at 8:04 am

Mother plant is pointless when your on a plant limit.and you can clone from crop to crop..or even reveg..
I done 1000 clones.spend 12 bucks on root tone.green house affect is important.i just get a cup with soil and saran wrap..
U can get a clear cup and turn it up side down with plant on in side..
    Many ways to clone.
    Some do hydro way.
    Cup of water.
The first 3 days are the most important..when I use a dome I spray the inside top of dome as much as I can first 3 days.then cut back.5 days I don’t spray inside of dome anymore.and I don’t spray plants.
    And last thing be patient..
If inside of dome gets too hot you can smother the plant ..too much humidity and mold comes along…and on dome slowly introduce plants to air..to fast to air and u can kill or shock them…
Clean scissors or 45 angle is hype.
U can scrap or not scrap stem..you cut cut stem in half at bottom…
The 45 degree cut is bull shit..

What ppms for colloidal silver solution ..?Anyone …?

  15. Paddington on May 25, 2022 at 8:05 am

peat pucks need a bit of a small squeeze before you set and forget them for 2 weeks. too much moisture and, like Guru said, there isnt a correct balance of moisture to air around the root zone; that’s probably why Dude had issues with peat pucks, otherwise you cant really screw them up than being too wet.

  16. Sun Flowers on May 25, 2022 at 8:06 am

Dip cuts in rooting hormone and place multiple cuts into jar of half full water, place under blue spectrum light constant for a week. The magic seems to happen when you put to sleep by giving 15-30 min red light before dark periods after the first week of constant blue light. Roots will begin to form on the cuts, often within the first week during constant light and explode after the reds added in. Add water with balanced nutes at 1/4 strength as needed to jars as it is used by cuts, remove any cuts that get mushy/slimy and discard.

Root in a jar of water👍

  21. Damoe on May 25, 2022 at 8:15 am

Coco, sunshine #4, promix in a solo cup roots under compact floros. No dome is needed if relative humidity is 50%-60%. I’ve rooted hundreds of cuts with a 95% success rate. Roots pop in about 2 weeks. I moved to a new spot with different humidity and now I need a dome.

  22. Benjamin Rowlandson on May 25, 2022 at 8:16 am

Big Fan of using Aloe Vera plant for dipping my clones, instead of the rooting jelly options on the market..Great show !!!

  23. P2Feener 305 on May 25, 2022 at 8:17 am

8:19 this is it. This is the key I was missing. I’ve watched sooooo many videos trying to figure out why my clones don’t have roots showing 14 days in…I’ve done everything by the book….or so I thought..this makes sense and I will be sure to follow on my next attempt

  24. Chris Licciardi on May 25, 2022 at 8:17 am

I’ve found that a node isn’t always necessary for the cutting to root. I’ve done side by sides dozens of times and the the cuttings with no node always root. They my be a day behind, if behind at all, but they always root. I use the exact method described otherwise.

  25. Willy wonka Redford on May 25, 2022 at 8:18 am

The old steve-o with glasses I could tell grew mushrooms when he said why adding beneficial mycorrhizae helps to prevent bad bacteria when rooting clones i was surprised when I found out that people growing mushrooms took so long to bring mycelium into the weed growing game we home mycologists have had the answer to fucked up p.h levels for a hot minute as well we use distilled water and ethier sterilize or pasteurize any and every thing we use from the gloves all the way down to the grains living soil is we’re it’s at …….i recently discovered that spider mites attack my tarantulas and just got back into growing cannabis and to help prevent spider mites from eating my weed and my tarantulas I add springtales from you local pet shop and isopods but they can be any old isopods or springtales you want the ones from the pet industry like for invertebrates and some reptiles not sure of the species Latin terminology or what exact type but I just know some people add them too soon or get the wrong type Certain types of isopods and springtales can kill a cannabis plant but only seedlings and very young cannabis

  28. Paddington on May 25, 2022 at 8:22 am

22:33 – resistance when putting into the cube/puck is super bad, ive noticed throughout the years those that get their wounds shoved through medium are the slowest and weakest clones.
If the moisture level of the peat puck is correct, after you soak, give them a small squeeze until you can squeeze it from either side with your fingers to open up a crack like a fissure to insert the clone. Place that cut on a flat surface to "tamp" the puck into shape with a flat bottom and close the fissure at the top, pinch the top opening around the stem so that it isnt an open cavity to allow the clone to shift inside. For the first few days, be super gentle with them, just spraying them can spin them in their cubes/pucks, and damage the early progress, whatever that actually looks like.

Like someone else said here, dont fuss over them, but dont let the pucks bone dry out, spray the dome or pool in the bottom for a bit of capillary, keep humidity up, and just wait. heat mat, trim tips, hormones, all good things mentioned for a great video.

  29. John Campbell on May 25, 2022 at 8:25 am

Aeroponics is a great cloning method . I don’t even use a humidity dome. Check it out.

  31. John TheJinx on May 25, 2022 at 8:28 am

I have a 95% success ratio, just putting my cuts in a glass of tap water ..Usually with-in 10 to 15 days roots start developing.. Never used a cloning gel or powder..

Also you do not need to wait until roots have actually grown out to transplant, as soon as the stems start to pimple "white pimples" start to show they can be planted..

  33. jaggedbrain on May 25, 2022 at 8:30 am

for cloning, not sure if you heard of wiltproof, it’s a spray that coats the clone with a sealant that keeps the clone from going into shock and wilting. seals up the stomata and slows moisture loss. and you will get callusing and roots growing all along the stem not just from the cut tip where stem cells are exposed, beneath the epidermal layer all along the stem is meristematic tissue that will break through and form roots…🌿😁🌿😁

  34. hardheadded on May 25, 2022 at 8:30 am

Sure wish I had watched this last week I just took some Inzane in the membrane clones I cut them in the wrong place on the stem they all dried just another learning to add to the long list and I’m sure there will be lots more to learn along this journey. Thanks for making this Vid guys iv been watching your stuff for a while now.

  36. Vince A on May 25, 2022 at 8:33 am

Ever notice how the ugly little cuts you have, that you pay no attention to, always seem to root? I’ve gone back, after pulling my "nice" rooted cuts, to toss the rest, and damned if they aren’t pumping out roots. I try my best now, to just forget about them, and leave them alone. Just a note;, There’s a scientist at Utah U, Bruce Bugby I think, that works on Hemp exclusively. In one of his presentations, he talked about how surprised they were, at the positive response they got from clone cuttings, by hitting them with very high PPFD. Definitely going to try it.

  37. Dave Gowie on May 25, 2022 at 8:34 am

If I keep the dome closed for 3 days then I get rot on the tops. How do you prevent the rot?

  38. Dean R SNC on May 25, 2022 at 8:37 am

Dip the cut of the clone in cinnamon powder or even honey then cinnamin powder will prevent bacteria entering and promote healthy root growth

  40. Paddington on May 25, 2022 at 8:39 am

I’m a huge fan of the more expensive, thicker black Mondi trays. The thin ones just break when you wash and stack them, say good bye if you ever step on one. The thick ones are like 1000% more expensive but they’re so worth it. Buy once, cry once.

  41. buddinghappiness330 on May 25, 2022 at 8:42 am

I’m here to let you know too there’s many people who have had problems with using recharge I don’t know why when I used it a few years back it worked but I will say it did work OK.. but I have limited how much I use because I noticed there was a lot of molasses in it.. how much of that at the ridge creates too much ammonicial nitrogen At the rootzone..Like I’m not being a dick but what’s the quality control like with your recharge creation

i dip cuttings in fresh aloe vera gel & straight into coco/perlite cups, humidity dome DONE A++. I gave up on rockwool cubes i have great success rate
