This was very helpful. I can just get kilawat Meyer and turn my scorpion Diablo down according to wattage.

    😁💨💨✌️

  4. @paigdyll on March 30, 2024 at 8:22 am

You think you could do something using lux meter to convert to ppfd.

  5. @shanemolloy4731 on March 30, 2024 at 8:22 am

Its bloom gets me. I hear week 3 to 8 should be high as you have without stress . If your plants are praying at lights off time they need more light. If they cup or taco they need less until before lights out your leaves should be paralell to the floor . Tune that in

  6. @kalashrestha3251 on March 30, 2024 at 8:24 am

Which light is better for rosemary to grow inside home ? Is blue light? Orange light ?

  7. @cmmnsenserules4339 on March 30, 2024 at 8:25 am

Man, you have an annoying voice….I swear I don’t turn you on at night to fall asleep to. It’s not gentle calm and soothing or anything 🙄. Ok busted, world’s most relaxing voice!!!

I wanna say I love the slim 500 in my 5×5 , you don’t even need a fan it stays really cool on the fixture .

  9. @mattyburrows9059 on March 30, 2024 at 8:27 am

50-60ppfd for clones..anymore will stress them says the dr..400ppfd for veg..the sun is 2000ppfd..anyone got a dimmer for the sun and while you are there use a 1000w mh bulb for veg which is far more than the 400ppfd led..then tell me the led light is better.

  10. @abundance40 on March 30, 2024 at 8:29 am

No offense but marshydro led bar went out in less than a year. Three out of the four work and my all my optic led lights still work. Have you heard of optic led or tried their lights?

  11. @tucker2074 on March 30, 2024 at 8:30 am

Micro did a great video using a normal lux meter and a bit of math, there was a selection of 4 lux meters with the corresponding math equation, for instance one of the lux meters was a UNI-T UT383 lux meter that whatever it reads there are two equations you use just look at the spectral graph for your light, first one is whatever the unit reads times it by 0.017 and the other spectrum is 0.014

  12. @KayFiedler on March 30, 2024 at 8:35 am

I got this the last time I watched you….and wow it helps hands down…..thank you 😅

  13. @mountainpride on March 30, 2024 at 8:36 am

I bought a Mars hydro fce 6500 1st led light. I found that at 75% an 28" away was too much for my girls in wk 3 of flower. I dimmed it down to just past the 50% mark. And they loved that. Now I’m in wk 6 of flower I turned it up just past the halfway mark between 50% an 75 %. The soil is happy the leaves are happy an the buds are loving life cuz there getting bigger everyday.

  16. @shanemolloy4731 on March 30, 2024 at 8:40 am

Read the leaves. 10 mins before dark if they pray they didnt get enough light. Increase until 10 mins before the leaves are flat you gave enough and their ready to rest

  18. @LAndre2874 on March 30, 2024 at 8:40 am

Mister AKA growing I have a question if somebody had a 200 watt light and 150 watt light and they stuck them in the same tent would that be equivalent to a 350 or does it not work that way?

  19. @blazedbilly5084 on March 30, 2024 at 8:42 am

Im a new grower ive only done one grow but it was outdoors but this grow i bought a spider farmer 3×3 tent, sf2000 EVO and a 4in smart ventilation system.

What light level should i put my sf2000 EVO for seedlings. Or if anyone can be kind enough i would appreciate anyone pointing me towards a step by step guide vid or article?

  20. @Acula33RC on March 30, 2024 at 8:44 am

I set my lights to 48 inches so I can work under them and rarely adjust it. I just use a PAR meter and use the dimmer.

  21. @dtjrealmc on March 30, 2024 at 8:44 am

What do you think of AGLEX lights?

  22. @tech12mods on March 30, 2024 at 8:45 am

  28. @Andy_Babb on March 30, 2024 at 8:51 am

Do you have an email that I could send photos with some questions? I’m a novice and just got the Colofrog CF 1500 light. It’s great but idk where to set the dimmer, I’m not using a tent and really want to get an experts opinion.

  33. @UNDERGROUNDHITRADIO on March 30, 2024 at 8:56 am

for new growers tldr: get a wattmeter + PPFD app on your phone! Works well for me, thanks to Shane from Migro and Mr Growit!

  34. @looktv8277 on March 30, 2024 at 8:56 am

Do I need a humidifier doing vegetation stage

  35. @VerageJoe on March 30, 2024 at 9:01 am

Do you think pepper plants would do well with the PAR ranges you provided?

  36. @hirammartinez952 on March 30, 2024 at 9:04 am

You don’t have the money for it just Pay good attention to the plant leaves 🍁 it will tell you a lot learned to understand the plant will help you a lot when you water it doesn’t like what you gave it temperature doesn’t like it you got to keep checking it out when your new understand what you’re doing every strain is going to be different it’s about keep learning I don’t care how long you do this you keep learning new stuff every day🤷🏻‍♂️ i’m just saying

  37. @Wyteboyfreddie on March 30, 2024 at 9:04 am

I never got an answer. He spoke mathematics the whole video and I learned nothing

  38. @gokhankolkiran6635 on March 30, 2024 at 9:04 am

I want to ask something. For mother plans What should the light setting and distance be? Thank you

  39. @jwgrower81 on March 30, 2024 at 9:07 am

I have the se 7000 spider farmer i run about 65 percent about 16 inches away at like 900 par i would move my light up but im outta room se 7000 is a banger great episode 👌 😎

  40. @newwavepressure6478 on March 30, 2024 at 9:07 am

Can u leave the lights at the top of the tent and adjust the dimmer as they grow or will that effect the stretching or the hight of the plant ????

  41. @violentnewworld on March 30, 2024 at 9:07 am

According to Mars their dimmer percentages refer to ppfd rather than power input.

  42. @FirstLast-numba1 on March 30, 2024 at 9:07 am

don’t the manufacturers do this for you

  43. @Shackleford8 on March 30, 2024 at 9:08 am

Awesome that you have a nice 15% discount on AC Infinity products! Damn they are pricey but I really want a controller I can remotely access.

  44. @JamesS.254 on March 30, 2024 at 9:08 am

Assuming you are using a light that produces more than you will need at the distance required for full coverage of the canopy, I would assume the use of the dimmer is to adjust the wattage output (a.k.a. electric bill) while still supplying the proper amount of light to the size/diameter of the canopy using height/distance to still maintain the light needed.

Basically, if you can achieve the proper amount of light using distance and wattage while maintaining full coverage, you can save your self some cash on you electric bill.

Please pardon me I’m new to this, and I’m trying to learn as much as possible for the following year as recreational use in Ohio will most likely be here at the end of 2023. And I would much rather grow my own than pay whatever for who knows what, plus there is a certain satisfaction to knowing you can do this for your self.

  45. @fullTimeVeganinOhio on March 30, 2024 at 9:10 am

On the spider farmer reading does it matter that that meter was in a Shadow?

  46. @WarningLowBattery on March 30, 2024 at 9:10 am

doesnt inverse square law imply that at double the height the fall off is actually 1/4th or 25% the light?

  47. @tottalyawesomeguy on March 30, 2024 at 9:11 am

do you always measure with par or can you use lux or footcandles ?

  48. @GardenTalkwithMrGrowIt on March 30, 2024 at 9:12 am

Were you aware of this method or not? I hope it helps some of you dial in your light distance while using the dimmer. I know many of you look to make your grow room as efficient as possible; using the dimmer on your grow light is certainly one way to reduce energy consumption. Cheers!

  49. @gunslingorgunslingorsadf8150 on March 30, 2024 at 9:15 am

For 3xvsfd4500 in a 4×8 tent, what distance and % would you use for starting veggie seedlings?

  50. @ANTOXA_RF on March 30, 2024 at 9:16 am

for mars hydro fc-8000 – what height should the LED lamp be on veg and on flowering?
