Hi once you have put them in the rock wool do you put them into humidity dome under light or light off to start thanks

  4. Dwight Jacobs on May 15, 2022 at 7:25 pm

  5. DOCUDRAMA on May 15, 2022 at 7:26 pm

Dude u do not need to ph your damn water to germinate a damn seed. For wt? Seeds don’t have roots to pull nutrients so why? Yahl youtubers do way more its like u try and grow the seed. U don’t need no damn ppm pen or ph meter to germinate seed, just water, darkness and light

  6. DOCUDRAMA on May 15, 2022 at 7:26 pm

But other than all that bs extra stuff good quality video

What nutrients do you use after 8-10 days?

  9. Kwame Twumasi on May 15, 2022 at 7:32 pm

Please sir can you tell which direction to plant the seed ? Is there a top and bottom ?

  10. Bob bing on May 15, 2022 at 7:32 pm

Rockwool Contains fermaldi – people that use it love. I chose not to use.

Feminized does not mean its gonna be a female… Always flip to flower to find males and than take cuts from females, and throw males in garbage

  14. Chris on May 15, 2022 at 7:38 pm

I’m doing this with autoflower and after rockwool stage I’m dropping the cubes in a 5 gal bag it’s final home.. I hope this works..

  15. Denise White on May 15, 2022 at 7:39 pm

Do you change the net pot as she gets bigger? If so does it do damage to her roots?

  16. Jok3r on May 15, 2022 at 7:39 pm

What light did you use for this grow?

  17. City70 on May 15, 2022 at 7:39 pm

Wait what (during germination 6.5 to 7 range????)) aint it suppose to be around 5.5 -6.0 range

  18. Mark Williams on May 15, 2022 at 7:41 pm

Could you put a cube in soil??

  19. Cooller on May 15, 2022 at 7:41 pm

I’d point out few things, Rockwool has a very high PH before it adjusts the water you pour in so it’s recommended to presoak the cubes overnight in PH stable water, once you’ve done that it’s also good to soak it again, over another night in 1/2 root juice or 1/4 veg nutrient solution, from this point just let the excess water runoff and bury the seed, with seeds themself I’d recommend to soak them completely in a glass of tap or whatever water you have for 48h in a dark place, if they don’t germinate I’d put them in wet paper towel and put it in plastic bag for another day or so, if they don’t germinate by this point the seed is invalid, don’t waste your time and Rockwool when you don’t have to, the seedling will be ready to transplant into the system after few roots are visible at the bottom of the cube, don’t forget to remove the wrapping around the cube and bury it fully, so not a single piece of Rockwool is visible under pebbels if you are using drip system place the drip near to the cube. good luck

WARNING: 3:04 "Wetting the rock wool with pH’ed water and then putting the seed(s) in" is NOT how to do this, at least according to a number of hydroponics guides that I’ve read. Rock wool has a natural pH of about 8, due to lime in the rock. Cannabis will not like that. You have to pH a container of water to the proper pH (6.5 for soil, 5.5 for Hydroponics), then let the rock wool soak for 24 hours so the lime will dissolve out. Check the pH of the water after 24 hours. If it’s more than +0.5 from where it was 24 hours ago, repeat the procedure.

TLDR: Soak rock wool in proper pH water for 24 hours, test pH, repeat as needed.

My plant is 4 weeks and it grew but absolutely no damn roots at all 😔

  22. Derek Biglin on May 15, 2022 at 7:42 pm

The only herb I’m growing is Parsley and Basil, but this has been super useful for my first Hydro setup regardless, expect your final crop will be a little more interesting than mine!

  23. ibieiniid on May 15, 2022 at 7:44 pm

using a dab tool to germinate seeds is super full-circle

  24. Rob Savino on May 15, 2022 at 7:45 pm

I tried your method. 3-15 plants not good. The other seeds rotted with so much humidity and moisture. Followed your video closely.

  25. MrDmadness on May 15, 2022 at 7:46 pm

Good video but you lose some points for not talking about conditioning the rockwool by soakingnin in 5.5. Spun rockwool contains lye ( base ) which needs to be neutralized by soaking for an hour in 5.5 adjusted water, then drained and re flushed .. this is per growdan instructions

  26. Cyborgs Grows on May 15, 2022 at 7:46 pm

Can you start the plant with the Rockwool then put in soil or does it need to be a DWC grow to use them?

  27. Gabe Foster on May 15, 2022 at 7:48 pm

Loved the video! Very nicely done

  28. S T on May 15, 2022 at 7:48 pm

Can I transplant in pots with dirt after they germinate

    Great video thanks

  31. Michael B on May 15, 2022 at 7:49 pm

7 ph is waaay too high for rockwool. Rockwool is naturally 7-8 ph so it will raise the ph of your water. You’re suppose to use 5.5-6.5 ph water.

  32. Ryheme Polk on May 15, 2022 at 7:49 pm

What nutrients n how much did u put for the first time?

  33. Yuuto Nosuri on May 15, 2022 at 7:50 pm

    why use rockwool ?

  34. Jacob Hunter on May 15, 2022 at 7:50 pm

So take the top off the humidity dome after 3 days and keep the light on?

  35. Jorge Sanchez on May 15, 2022 at 7:51 pm

    Where from?

  36. GadsMotors on May 15, 2022 at 7:52 pm

How long should the heat matt be used under the dome? If seed sprouts should you remove it? I hope someone answers. Thanks

    Uf fantastic

  39. Chris Liknes on May 15, 2022 at 7:58 pm

Why 6.5-7 ph? Shouldn’t it be around 5.5? Rock wool comes around 7.8 ph that’s why you have to soak it.

  40. Len 64 on May 15, 2022 at 8:01 pm

It’s ok to just saturate cubes by poring ph’d water on cube vs soaking? I’m concerned about not shaking enough water from cube before planting seed.

  41. Dr J on May 15, 2022 at 8:01 pm

I heard you need to ph the water to like 4.5 and then soak the rockwool cubes first because the process makes the ph very high for a starting medium…something like that. Not sure if this is true?

  42. DOCUDRAMA on May 15, 2022 at 8:06 pm

Oh lord Jesus and u got a heat map hell nahl what’s next?

  43. paperclip on May 15, 2022 at 8:06 pm

Im broke after investing in a full dwc grow set up:) this i have to do DIY

  44. Mr. Ski on May 15, 2022 at 8:08 pm

I don’t like hydro, plants get too bushy and heavy for a set up like the one in video. I like coco and perlite re-useable media……on my 5th grow with my Coco…. I just sift the roots out, wash the coco to clean nuits out with ph water. Let the Coco dry and it’s ready to go. Super cheap, very little labor. Hell I actually love using Rockwell 1.5 and Coco combination.

Sub’d merely for the fact that you didn’t waste my time and got straight to the point! Thanks!

  46. Alexander Wolf on May 15, 2022 at 8:08 pm

Question, so when you place the rockwool with seed in your dome, is that when you begin your light cycle of 18 on and 6 off until ready to be placed in the pots?? Thanks in advance!

  47. Travis Behrens on May 15, 2022 at 8:09 pm

why wouldnt you germ the seeds before placing them in the rickwool

  48. Downsyndrome Hitler on May 15, 2022 at 8:14 pm

Always wondered if you combine two seedlings and wire them together encouraging them to entwine would it work for a start? but surely in a big single hydropot with a fair bit of pruning, wouldnt it produce far more in a stealth grow/ confined space grow??

  49. Billie Lemere on May 15, 2022 at 8:16 pm

I catch videos as I see or search. I Love my Mars lights. Watching this, bc I just got an Atwater bucket… just trying a hydro bucket 1st time. BUT. they’re Auto Seed… so, I think I’ll try one first, I can grow 3 in one bucket- but- lil leary… been dirt for 30 years now! Lol. Thank you At RuffHouse! For All your research and video help!!
