It’s pretty easy in Australia too although it’s a bit different. You go to a clinic and see a doctor that will prescribe you specific products that the pharmacy will dispense. The price of the medications is lower than the black market so even with $200 for the initial appointment and $75 for follow up visits (rough average) it works out well. In Australia look for the Indimed Tempo line of products for people with health care or pension cards. $100 for 15g is a very good deal.

Hey dude I have a question. If I have the card and have been sent a 7 month recommendation renewal but don’t go to it, will stop my card from working? Thanks!

I’ll give you my experience here in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Went to CBD Docs to schedule an appointment for my card. Fee to CBD Docs $100. Go wait in your car for a doctors call (psychiatrist) who charged $50 and told me I had anxiety. Go inside for my appointment to see the MM doctor. $100 for flower script, $100 for inhalation script (vapes and orals) and $125 doctor fee. Then, $75 for the state card. $500 and your good for 6 months. Then back to the doctor for a script renewal $125. Then six months later $125 script renewal and another $75 to the state. So a full year costs you $700. It’s expensive. Weed prices are $28-$65 an 1/8. Tincture $60-90 for 60 ml. Edible are $25-30 for ten 10mg pieces. Sales and discounts every day like now by 3 1/8 of flower get 2 free plus my seniors discount of 10%. When I go tomorrow and show my renewal I’ll get $75 off if I spend $150 so 50% off. There is always a sale on something and with 6 stores in a 1/2 miles it’s getting cheaper by competition.

I hope you also mentioned that this adds you to a federal database, linked with the NICS system, so if you ever buy a gun, or apply for a ccw, or apply for a government job, or apply for secret/top secret clearance, you’ll be denied, right? Oh, you didn’t?

  9. @Zvrra on May 3, 2024 at 8:35 am

Could I get one in Texas?

  17. @eldewgzborracho7653 on May 3, 2024 at 8:45 am

I had one here in California a couple years ago before recreational use was legal, I just walked in one day no appointment. $30 I think it was.

  18. @mavindraganga3398 on May 3, 2024 at 8:46 am

The main thing is money it’s expensive asf

  19. @camf8372 on May 3, 2024 at 8:46 am

I might get an MMJ card from New Mexico since they legalized weed recently 🤔 D8 is cool but there are those times where I need full strength cannabis-derived d9

  20. @veryfrozen3271 on May 3, 2024 at 8:47 am

You dont even have to leave your house you pay 40$ in California a doctor calls you afterwords you have a medical recommendation. Whole process takes 30min from buying waiting for call and then receiving. Idk what its like it other states.

  21. @indubitably2589 on May 3, 2024 at 8:48 am

ID……… Who would think one would need such a thing…………………

  22. @paulstevens1050 on May 3, 2024 at 8:51 am

    weed

  23. @Cryaboutit710 on May 3, 2024 at 8:51 am

I’m all for people getting their med card if they want but I find it repulsive that stoners are looked at as people who shouldn’t be allowed to own guns but alcoholics can get drunk and go shoot guns all day and nobody bats an eye

  24. @ryanhenson7225 on May 3, 2024 at 8:52 am

Yo im in Fla I got my card we should link up and smoke down

  25. @tehdogefather6546 on May 3, 2024 at 8:55 am

Had to get mine this month because I want to travel to other states we’re weed is legal for medical but not recreational.
First place I looked showed they were for only 50 bucks but when you got to the check out it was 100 bucks 😒
I went somewhere else and got it for 60 bucks 😅

  27. @bkeenan001 on May 3, 2024 at 8:56 am

Moved form California and got my Florida Card when I moved here after a few months. It was easy looked up acceptable symptoms and complained of arthritis pain. Didn’t need explain anything to my Doctor. She spent most our time talking about the Rolling Stones Concert she went to at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. It was cool, she asked me if I could roll a joint and I said not to save my life. She even explained how to practice rolling them. Very Cool Dr in Port St. Lucie. I’d like to hear your opinion on Florida weed form a dispensary. It’s different form retail in California and all the various commercial options.

  28. @crazyturkturk1733 on May 3, 2024 at 8:56 am

california makes it so fucking easy, got mine right when i hit 18 within 5 minutes jusr with a quick phone call

  29. @DrDepperLP on May 3, 2024 at 8:56 am

In VA you can just get a prescription from your doctor and that works at dispensaries. Some dispensaries with that recent law now require the prescription and won’t take the medical card.

  30. @JohnDoe-pb5cx on May 3, 2024 at 8:56 am

How much weed are you personally allowed to buy?

  31. @patriciasargent9707 on May 3, 2024 at 8:56 am

    Thanks

  32. @ItzJcg on May 3, 2024 at 8:56 am

What if I’m moving too flordia from Texas! I’m 18 and wondering how would i show “proof of residence” I will be living with my parents in my grandmas house because my mom will be taking care of her.

  33. @gfersurvived6622 on May 3, 2024 at 8:59 am

I live in Az. we went recreationally legal a few years back. But before that all you had to do was buy it. We’llll you had to see a doctor but in my smaller town it was a chiropractor. You just literally paid the money which was to expensive for me so I just didn’t.

  34. @elgato4619 on May 3, 2024 at 9:00 am

Man I hope Texas lays back on these marijuana laws soon it’s hard for me to get decent shit at times alot of mids floating around people thinking it’s the best of the best

  35. @jimmywalden1615 on May 3, 2024 at 9:00 am

Ya I would 100% get a medical card if the government didn’t want my guns in return if someone can buy and drink alcohol wail owing guns I should be able to legally smoke and still own guns I don’t think that would be a issue your not suppose to shot guns and drink so what’s the difference here the fact the give still says it’s a felony to use or own marijuana even tho my state says it’s legal

  36. @gfersurvived6622 on May 3, 2024 at 9:02 am

Another interesting story was a few years ago my pain management dr. pulled everyone in and said oh the doc is gonna quit prescribing opiates n wants everyone to switch to medical marijuana, well that was four years n everyone’s still gettin their pills. I think he reconsidered when he realized he would lose every patient, never heard another word about it.😂😂I couldn’t afford that anyway.

In Michigan we have weed docs all over the place, but I actually got my recommendation from my old GP with out having to even ask for it lmao. He asked if I smoked cannabis and said it’d be better for me than the hydrocodone and ibuprophen that I was taking daily, and he was right!

  39. @thesharinganknight9859 on May 3, 2024 at 9:04 am

What about in Georgia, I feel like there’s a giant hole missing in this explaination

  40. @xpxphidexpxp on May 3, 2024 at 9:06 am

My gf had lung surgery done a little over half a year ago and continues to suffer from nerve pain. She started taking delta 8 gummies and it helped her so we decided to get her, her medical marijuana card in case she were to ever get drug tested. She scheduled the appointment, went Saturday, told the doctor about the surgery, and the doctor responded with, “and I’m assuming this previous surgery makes you suffer from anxiety” my gf hesitant said yes even though her visit had nothing to do with that, and they checked a box off and told her about the state processing fee, and she was out of there in less than 10 minutes. Mind you she did bring hospital records but they never once asked for it or anything. Also this was in West Palm Beach, Fl. So if y’all are hesitant or scared, there’s no need to be. Highkey they will give you the card no matter what.

  41. @allieboy181 on May 3, 2024 at 9:06 am

Bruh, I am also in Florida, and I just paid $200 and the renewal is gonna be $175 tf lol

  42. @flacoflaco12 on May 3, 2024 at 9:09 am

i made the mistake of just going to the first place i saw. paid $220 for the first visit. $175 every six months smh

How does one become a marijuana doctor?

  47. @GabrielHodge-gj2uo on May 3, 2024 at 9:15 am

He’s right about the discount codes though my dispensary has a website 75 bucks for my consultation

  48. @ethantimmy8656 on May 3, 2024 at 9:17 am

Live in pa, did it through veriheal online and it took 30 seconds to get approved he asked me my name and dob, why I wanted it (I literally just said I have anxiety without any proof which I DO) he asked me if I have ever smoked it before and then he said ok and approved me. Did it over the phone I kid you not literally 30 seconds I was surprised but it cost me 250
