You guys mention temps— but i believe humidity is right there with it. I try to hang and cure anywhere below 70 degrees F and 60%humidity. Thinking it through 60% rh seems right for the whole plants life cycle minus seedlings.

All those supplements are nothing nothing more than swamp water,molasses, and guano. Use the natural versions and you won’t be able to breath near the plants without a filter mask they srink so much

Isn’t cannabis a bioaccumulator and picks up what is in the soil including, but not limited to, terpines from organic material

I make a light organic mix with earthworm castings and supplement synthetic down the road. Works great I also use rain water any chance I get

The thing with organic vs synthetic is that you can’t necessarily overfeed as easily because the organic has to break down whereas synthetic is just a straight shot of nitrogen or whatever and people can tend to overfeed way easier like that which will absolutely lead to a horrible smoke
Edit: also to touch on what you said at the end about the weed staying moldy and not drying out, yes indeed it is likely a type of micro environment (likely to due to mold as you mentioned) and something in that environment is or contains a hydrous compound – meaning the water molecules are very hard to separate
Completely agree with controlled stress, I’ve had great results keeping the ladies in stress the last two weeks.

Washing the bud definitely destroys your butt because you said watching the but doesn’t I had a professor show me it destroys the trichomes on the butt now watching your butt when the plant is still alive is a different thing
Never give your plants 48 of any other amount of darkness before harvest except regular hrs in flower. Also don’t stop feeding your plants for good terps. Do not flush !

I grow indoors and have had bud from the same strain that was grown outdoors in not so optimal environment and the difference was like night and day. The flavor and effect of the outdoor bud was far better IMO
Organic fertalizers may break down to similar molecules as synthetic but it’s just like Delta 9 that’s going around or spice when it was.
Do you smoke the synthetic stuff just because it gets the same result as real cannabis? Or do you smoke actual cannabis.

I don’t know why "stinky"is even a characteristic to desire. You don’t need it to be stinky to have a flavor that is enjoyable.

dont know if its true, but my buddy tought me to cut down plant at night because chlorophyl.goes down into the bottom of stem and roots
I ended up placing a small peltair dehumidifier inside a deep freezer. 2 computer fans to circulate, an inkbird rh and temp control plug and a sponge. Peltair coolers work by using current to make one side of a metal plate cold while the other is hot. Heatsink goes on the hot side with a cooling fan. The hot air acts as the dry bulb while also pulling moisture from the air until it reaches the selected set point. The deep freezer is extremely energy efficient and helps pull out the initial moisture. For adding humidity back in the sponge was still the best solution I could come up with.

“Flushing” is retarded, the plant will use up whatever is in it if you are patient. Time is the only thing that “flushes” your plant

Been growing 5 years now. Never flushed once. Ash is white no green taste. It’s all about the dry and cure. Simple as that.
