I’m growing outdoors and used my own soil in the holes that I dug however there is a lot of clay in the surrounding areas and my plants are now showing iron deficiencies, can I fix with foliar spray as I know that clay can sometimes cause iron lockout, please help anyone thanks

I added a water filter to my hose and weeks later it started in one of my plants. Gonna remove my water filter… got one of those boogie brew filters. The filter definitely changed my PH

i didn’t water my plants for a few days and out of 30 ish 1 turned almost all white.. a lot of plants also had PM really bad.. its weird.. but i watered it and fed them today like normal and i treated the PM and as far as I can see the PM is gone.. ill let you know if Iron Def fixes on its own or if i need to do something.. question.. whats white. will it turn green again or is it like sun burn.. that part of the plant is dead ish now? because it was every bud site..

Randomly I have this going on .
Wasnt 100% until I watched . Video was very helpful.
Im thinking my issue may have been caused by too much nitrogen locking out iron uptake ? Does that make any sense to you ?
    May have corrected itself

I know you’re a hydro dude, but tap water in organic growing can defeat the benefits.

Thanks lex I just switched to organics and I’m never going back. Also just purchased TnB naturals 👍🌋 I am getting a couple down to earth products at a time and I’m researching super soils now. Don’t keep buying synthetic pH issues disappear it’s not super easy but then it gets easier. Thanks again lex keep up the great work brother!! 🎯✅💯

I switched to bottled water from tap water thinking it would’ve been better, now one of my plants has severe iron deficiency. So hopefully switching back to tap water and babying it will help it bounce back

  48. Count Dankula on February 14, 2023 at 11:16 pm

You a exactly helped my issue

  49. Kanard Lewis on February 14, 2023 at 11:16 pm

I’m having this issue on Day 11 of growth. What do you think the issue could be? I water with PH 6.08, but spray bits of water without soaking every day. I’m not putting nutrients yet, just water. When I water, the soil looks dry in the solo cups, but perhaps I’m overwatering. I don’t know though. What are your thoughts?

  50. s0bad on February 14, 2023 at 11:16 pm

Thanks man, I just realised my plant has iron deficiency. I thought it was yellowing like this because of the genetics. I’m using coco perlite as the medium and this seems to have a high pH by default, would you recommend using a lower than usual pH (<5.0) in the nute mixture to balance the medium pH? I also was over watering in the beginning.
