I only mix my plants with the dirt at my house, for nutrients I use what ever mother nature provides such as collecting rain water, snow, and I make teas with whatever plants I get my hands and let the tea sit for days before using but I really want to try how u grow but I don’t have the money and plus I live far from any gardening stores
When reusing soil, try and keep it moist in order to keep the soil a living soil. Adding a cover crop in between grows will keep the mycorrhizae alive. Just thought Peace ✌🏻
I’m glad you went over the bone meal and fish meal because 😂I’m allergic to fish so I’m like omgggg what else am i gonna use but bone meal is my alternative 🤍 so thank you.
Do you think most garden stores will have all this nutrients?
I like to use coco blocks and I add pretty much the same stuff but buy the dry amendments already combined for veg and bloom. The blocks are compact coco coir and you just add water they expand. Space saver so you don’t have to store large bags and cost wise a bit cheaper. I appreciate your video, very good and the smell part I found funny 😂

Cool video. I like how you openly admitted to never mastering chemical grows. I can promise once you do. Ya will still have a bit of fear every time you add or adjust. You nailed it. Natural/organic is simply more forgiving. And let us face it. Where in the world is weed growing that has better soil than we can create in our basement or garage? If anybody finds it we can just bag it up right? Organic is not only the best way. It is the right way to grow as nature shows us.

Bottles are for babies anyways, so don’t sweat not using synthetics. My one suggestion to your soil recipe would be to switch from coco to peat moss.
Try some ground seed teas. Organic non-gmo corn seed, 2 row malted barley barley, and rye all work great. Plus you can top dress the mush afterwards. Especially if you have worms in the pot.

if you’ll swap perlite for chicken grit aka crushed granite you’ll save tons of money. it better than perlite. it also slowly breaks down to micro nutrients.
