How To Mix a 3-Part Hydroponics Nutrient Solution
How To Mix a 3-Part Hydroponics Nutrient Solution
In under three minutes we show you how to mix a three-part hydroponic nutrient solution using the General Hydroponics Flora Series Advanced Nutrient System. To comment on this video and for tons of grow tips and advice, visit www.just4growers.com
What conductivity meter would you recommend for a beginner? Thanks!!
Is this for soil also?
Galons, are u kidding?
Making a separate solution for ph is fakenews.
I did a double study and it made no difference. The only difference was I had to add more ph solution as adding it to a separate water cup diluted the ph for the nutrient solution. This is more like a marketing tactic to get growers to use more product then they need.
Same with the 10ml. Half is all that’s needed especially in veg.
do they eventually expire i started today putting it but those bottles where from a couple yrs back
Are you using us or uk gallons
What’s the shelf life of these chemicals? I’ve had 3 bottles un opened for 3 year’s now are they good to use?
Is super thrive a good hydroponic fertilizer?
Can you use this stuff for potted plants?
Beware this does. Not work for every medium. This guy is leaving out crucial variables. The medium you grow in may not require all three you may just need to use them separately each for different stages and they work just as well.
What about soil growing?
Finally a video that explains this well.
Is it ok to use micro hard water with ro water need help please my plant isn’t doing well and I can’t figure out why .My hunch is the micro hard water
thank U.. at what temp is good to mix.. is too hot or cold bad for the mix..? when i mix green & brown the water turns cloudy..
then pink brings it back..but sometimes or most times when i mix the green in after brown is NOT cloudy.. can u help..
Smoke a bowl.
Hi Everest! I am a big fan of the channel. I had a quick question for you about something I could have sworn you covered in a video I’d seen a while back. I couldn’t find the video online so figured I’d ask you directly since you’d likely know the fix!
We are running into issues with our nutrient solution. We mix solid masterblend fertilizer, calcium nitrate, and epsom salts in tap water to make a 10-10-6 solution. We have it pH adjusted with a Bluelab system (which I saw according to a video of yours might drop the pH too quickly and be a source of the problems). After a day or two, we get a dark precipitate from the solution that falls out, is in particulate throughout, and chunks on the surface. The nutrients are all dissolved separately in warm water first when mixed, the solution seems fully dissolved for hours. After a day or two, the fallout happens. Any idea what is going on or what could help? FYI our water is on the hard side.
mracle-gro macro and flora
When to add 3-part nutrient again means when to give 2nd time. after how many days.
Let’s say I have 1 gallon and I’m doing cutting in a hydroponic system how much do I need, and after a week of my cuttings growing do I need to change the dosage?
How can I have hydroponic nutrition plz tell me
Can the flora gro be used alone for houseplants? If so what’s the ratio?
Do I stop using gro when I’m in flowering?
i will star use macro and florab on the lose stech of the plants
kent i mix with miriclo crow soluble to
The real question is how often do I give the plants the 3 Nutrients all together
Awesome video
I was adding my ph up/down directly in, thanks for the info!
all i have is a question and is this.Should i flush with water every third watering or use nutrients until the end?
What’s the shelf life of the mixture?
Come back!
We desperately need hydroponic instructional videos.
Read the bottle maybe
new friend here good info
What happens if you mix the flora grow first?
Can you do a 3 part solution video update for 2020 but also add the different mix ratios for each grow cycle of the plant? Seed to harvest style.
I was wondering why do have to mix the mico first then grow then bloom last
It’s good for lettuce?
thank you very much for this video. I start with this technique, your video helped me! Is it possible to make the mixture in advance and keep it? If so, do you have any indications for the storage time and the temperature to store the water once mixed? I only have two plants currently in semi hydroponics so I don’t want to waste my mix. thank you in advance!
as mentioned before the EC of water should be below 200pmm but while mixing the micro in water it is said that it should be mixed in hard water ?
Can I use the mixed nutes again the next day or even a couple of days later? Or should I mix a fresh solution for each feeding?
When measuring the Ppm of the water by itself, it ranges from 200 to 300 ppm. But when I put the nutrients in, it measures at around +1300ppm , is that still good to pour in the plants or no?
So does this actually work for hard water. I’m worried that I’ll come across many issues with having hard water. I don’t want to buy the hard nutrients and it to lock out my roots
Use reverse osmosis water & you wont need to worry about the PH.
I have been having a powder issue. It will attack my roots Any ideas or suggestions?
Next video, teaching Granny to suck eggs
i can use it everyday ?
thanks alot . just what i was looking for
Wont adding a diluted solution of PH down end up decreasing your ppm> You are adding plain water to your nutrient solution. Or is that ammount of PH down diluted water added to the nutrient solution so small that it doesnt affect the PPM much? I’ve been adding straight PH down to my nutrient solution, but I think you know a lot more about this stuff than I do.
Im very much a newbie grower but I’m trying to learn and ur videos have lots of good info!!
Most people are not going to have an expensive meter to measure dissolved solids.
Thanks for sharing. I forgot to add a mix but cannot remember which one is missing. Should i expect my garden to die? I am afraid if I add one it will be too much of one mix.
How long can I keep my mix
Does it eventually go bad?
Possible to use the green solution on its own?
