General Hydroponics is now owned by monsanto, please don’t support them. Anyone that wants the cheaper way to do it: Citric acid for PH down. Baking Soda for PH up.
Can you use PH down granules for a pool in water for your plants to lower the ph in the soil
Quick question… should I ph my tap water first then add the fox fam trio nutrients or add the nutrients than bring up ph of the water?

I wish you would ph a gallon and let us know how much ph down was needed to lower it a point or .5 points. Nobody seems to do this.

My well water is 8 Ph… Ive been dropping it to 6.5 with Ph down! Now i see my cannabis plants are aLL turning Lime Green to Yellow! If i emmediately check the Run off from bottom of Plant pot, the ph is down to a 4 ph!?? And ive even tested on a fresh pot of mix by itself to check the run off, and its 4 ph also! -Im only using Promix BX general purpose mix… Can u suggest what i can do? I cant buy any fancy equip etc…. I got plants, mix and 8 ph well water… What would u suggest my Watering Ph should be? Thx Ps: Im only using a $5 bk water Ph test kit wth the dye drop’s and a color chart! Now im just using strait 8 Ph well water, wthout bringing it down… The plants have slowwed there lightening up, but r still hurting….
If the water is ph’d do you still need to test the soil? If the soil is to high or low what do you do about?
Help, does adding ph up or down add more ppms? I checked my ph after afew days and it raised after the first adjustment. Maybe from it being a hot few days someone said , so I adjusted down again as it raised to 8! out of curiosity of tested the ppms and it said 1000! these are only seedlings , when I first measured it was only 300pm’s
dont buy a cheap ph pen. if you want a cheap accurate ph meter, just use the drops.
Hell yeah I learned something thanks bud
Yes but how do you transfer that to a gallon of water?
Super Helpful!
If you notice at 5:27 when you add the ph up it creates a little chemical reaction streamy little cloud? I seen on the mr grow it channel that you should always dilute the ph up with water before you add it to your feed that already has nutrients in it.. I guess it makes them not mix well he said..
So I was doing some research on water ph levels. Nestle purelife has a ph of 6.5 and arrowhead drinking water a ph of 6.3. For someone who doesn’t want to mess with a ph tester and ph up and down; could one use water that has a base ph that is need for the plant. I realize calmag and other nutrients will affect this, however is it possible and what do you think the benefits vs the cons would be? Thank you in advance to any reply.
do you have to calibrate it the first time you use it out of the box?
Thanks
explaining things in the lamest term is the best way for all to understand! Thanks man. and i subscribe to your channel.
