SUPER SOIL
There are many great premade mixes out there but i like to know exactly what is in my soil so i create my Compost in small scale hand crafted batches with majority of ingredients from down to earth ammendments using @Coastofmaine bar harbor blend with added nutrients and my “Black Gold” compost and periodic compost teas.
Coast of Maine is a great Local East Coast Based compost supplier with grade a products.
Down To Earth is a great company based in Oregon you can check their site to find a local supplier near you and support a small business ( its also much cheaper that way than shipping to your house)

I would grow my plants a bit shorter… probably start with clones so I don’t have to wait for sexual maturity., Also noticed the ducting setup…. ideally you either want to dump or source the air outside of the HOUSE… not recycle…. this will hit you hard in the yields as the main job of the extraction setup is ensuring adequate CO2 for photosynthesis.
I grow everything in straight compost I make myself, and use rainwater on the Ladies.
I use RO water in my living soil. If you don’t use RO water then your ppms are always going to be higher than your recommended nutrient chart. Sometimes you get a little burn with Dechlorinators. My tap is 50 ppms, dechlorinators does not decrease my ppms. Also my tap doesn’t have cal or mag in it so I don’t want my plants drinking that extra 50 ppms of the unknown
I’m starting a gorilla grow outside in the uk and was going to use dr organics living soil,
Will the ready mix bag last the complete plant cycle from start to harvest or will I need to top dress at all, I’m mostly doing auto’s this season

I do 20 plants in another 5×5 I have . I call it my don’t give a crap tent . I harvest 6 oz per plant every 3 weeks . under a optic led 500s slim I also literally just have 2 ac infinity fans in there and nothing else
Glad to see others finally catching on to turn things down closer to end of flower.
Plants long dome been done growing and they don’t need to focus on photosynthesis so much anymore and need to ripen trichomes and let those oils to come to its fullest potential.
I actually knock my timer down to 11 on 13 off for 3 days then finish 10 on 14 off last week or so..

Good job mate, you really know your stuff. One of my purple punch (from Greenpoint) hermied and seeded the others too, so it’s probably genetic and nothing you done. Do you know roughly what your ph is when you water? Mine comes out of the tap at 7 and after bubbling it for 24 hours it’s around 8.2 so i ph it to 6.4. You reckon that’s too high to not ph?

I may have forgot to mention that genetics is hugely important and yields as well certain genetics will never get that high of yields, so it will take a careful selection of cultivars to achieve maximum yields, but thats not always whats its all about so sometimes you find a plant worth keeping even if it has lower yields

I am a amateur grower for fun and to smoke. Turned part of my home office into a CFL grow section of the office from bag seeds. My largest harvest was around 224 grams of DRY very good buds from 20 females. About 11 grams per plant. How do people get one pound of DRY bud’s per plant?
Yeah but if u use tap water.. with wat they put in it in a hydro system it gums it all up wit calcium build up so it defiantly matters if u have ro water.. now if it’s outside. I feel u .. I don’t care if it’s out door straight fromnthe hose don’t even pH
