Has anyone ever heard of weed turning completely black I have an uncle that said he plant his weed in soil that he used the year before and he said his whole plant turned black ive heard of and seen black colored genetics in weed plants but it don’t make sense why using soil 2 years in a row would make your weed plants black if anything id expect the leaves to turn yellow or brown from nutrient deficiencies

I stop feeding nitrogen once I see white hairs on the plant. Once in flower the plant pretty much stops needing any external nitrogen
If your plants don’t need anything, don’t give them anything. I don’t feed until into week 2 of the flower maybe later. Your plants have PLENTY of nutritions in the soil if it’s fresh soil. Until they are well into flower. Another thing cannabis thrives on smaller feedings over time. Other than a bunch of feed all at once every few days. Try feeding a small amount every other day or every couple day’s instead. Also, a good idea is to reduce the recommended feeding by half.
I have 2 mars hydro led light and they perform horribly,, the yield is less than half than the ones under my one 600hps,, the mars hydro turn them yellow too,, took me the longest time to figure this out I kept thinking I had a nutrient deficiency
just leach the plants and you will be fine

When you have a nitrogen toxicity it can create a lockout of other nutrients. This is probably what’s happening. The nutrients are there they are just locked out until flushed

I just wanted to add my input as i am new to coco…I just recently had the same problem..THe best thing to do is make sure you check your PPM on your run off..IF its super high water it with like an 700ppm solution and keep taking reading until you match your 700ppm and PH…If you keep feeding your plant over and over without runoff it just sits in there and when it dryes it gets worse cuz it turns into salt. If you water to run off and check your ppm of the runoff and just make sure it dont get to crazy….DONE>>

I had no idea cal mag had N in it, went to go look at my lotus nutrients cal mag and right in front of my face 4-0-0 I literally out loud said holy shit … I’ve backed off N feeling my girls was too green but I’m in coco coir and still was using Cal Mag …. thanks I literally subbed bc of this

I’m using a 111 Worm Emulsion an my leaves are curling and I’ve only fed it three times and it’s 4 feet tall now I did have to raise the light that was a problem as it was to close I used to use Fish emulsion and never had this problem
fyi, ever since cannabis became legal, there is an obvious and widespread problem that NO ONE can SEE. the FDA has declined to do ANYTHING to raise awareness about this ongoing Public Health issue. simply put, cannabis bud should NOT stink*.!!! and, any product derived from stinky cannabis bud is TOXIC.!!!
this toxicity problem extends to all products, including MEDICAL, that are derived from stinky cannabis.!!!
* the details: cannabis bud stinks because it has NOT be adequately dried.!!! the stink is indicative of two things: the presence of residual h2o, which is not the ‘real’ problem. and,
the presence of Toxic amounts of the VOC CHLORIN. see link. (not chlorine)
chlorin cannot evaporate from plant tissues, unless the cell membranes have ruptured. when cell membranes do not rupture during the drying process,
chlorin is PERMANENTLY trapped/encapsulated in the cells.!!!
as a result, any product that is derived from stinky cannabis bud is TOXIC.!!! this problem extends to Medical cannabis products.!!!! this is why people end up at the ER.!!! this is why consumers are now experiencing severe side-affects, that are NOT THC-related. eg., symptoms of Chlorin POISONING.!!!!!
thus, consumers are NOT having THC-induced experiences; and a consumer may take in more cannabis, at any given time, than is healthy — in an attempt to ‘achieve’ Normal intoxication.

So I was using goliath general A+B mix (n-p-k 2-1-3 on my girls for entire life now I decided to and idk why is add an all purpose fert food n-p-k 4-3-5 on top of the soil for top dressing now I got nitrogen toxicity on my beautiful girls and iv clean flushed them now but what can I do to fix this just keep flushing I’m about 2-3 weeks away from harvest I’m dealing with 1 sativa and 2 indicas in the same tent I no it’s fun tell me about the battles of training hahaha but yea not sure sorry for the long comment I’m new and scared lol

This is a serious question. I have been using MG forever, we never had all the new fangled nutes there are today. Both soil and fertilizer MG. Also I use it several times a grow. I may get a tiny bit of tip yellowing every now and then, but never like I see in the vids. and I don’t test the soil nor Ph. Question: What’s the deal, what’s going on?

I’m reading that it’s good to flush until the runoff’s ppm matches the water’s ppm but I’m kind of sceptical. I’m around 600 now and I think the plant need it for some time and I don’t get what it’s good to flash out all the nutrient and not only the excess (but other leaves top are getting burned). What do you think it’s best?
