I heard you say not to dilute jacks. Ive wondered when in soil, why is it wrong to diltue the stregnth of jacks? What does diluting causes when growing. A complete jacks mix in ro water is 650 ppm of a well balanced fertilizer program. Why cant you use half or quater strength to see what your plants can handle.? I like the idea of balanced feed program but what wrong with smaller amounts? Thanks.

The medium in my "Phototron" is spagnum & perlite.
I have been only watering with 9.5 ph RO water.
Actually I have been flushing with 1 gallon of ph 9 RO water eash morning.
As the water collects in the bottom of the "Phototron", I use a ‘Basting’ syringe to draw the runoff.
Should I be in a panic mode when I see the runoff from my "Phototron" read 4.8ph & ppm 4000 ?

Has anyone made a schedule for 321 on Fox Farms Happy frog? I’m afraid of burning if I start too soon

  10. SetTheCurve on June 22, 2022 at 4:05 pm

Saying silica isn’t soluble is incorrect. It’s just minimally soluble, but tons of plants have specific silica transporters and soil bacteria and fungi excrete acids to solubilize silica. Rice growers frequently require silica fertilizers. And studies show that it works much better in the media/reservoir vs foliar.

I wish the three of you could go through a planned vid with your slides and then people could ask questions about the video at the end. Just my thoughts thanks for your knowledge share 👍

We really need time stamps with videos like these. Not just for people who are looking for specific answers, but for people who want to come back to the video and rewatch a section.

Her Grandfather created cal-mag! That is crazy. I love these products! Thanks for not nickeling and diming us to death. You definitely could have separated these essential elements and sold them in 16 different bottles, suspended in water. The integrity is why Jacks has been around and will continue to be here.

  18. Peter Cursi on June 22, 2022 at 4:27 pm

Thank you for the reply. My question is do you have a suggestion on how to correct my ph problem, which is my runoff is in a danger zone of 4.88ph even though I have discontinued feeding nutrients in 5.6ph RO water, and also have only been watering with ph9 RO water. I have also been flushung twice each morning. I keep getting the same bad results; ie. 9ph IN and 4.88ph OUT Can you help Thank you in advanced

Hi from Spain! excellent info, do you deliver to Spain?

  20. Mike Ross on June 22, 2022 at 4:31 pm

Jack’s 5-12-26 base has more than enough magnesium in it for the majority of the genetics out there. I ran 8 different strains this season and only 1 of them, clone only GG4, needed more mag. I run Jack’s 5-12-26 @ 3g, Calnit @ 2.5g, no epson from veg till just before harvest in coco. I feed full strength from rooted clone too. I do add .5g MKP @ week 2.5 and only supplements I add is a weekly drench and foliar with OG biowar compost tea with fulvic and tribus. My tea is also the only IPM I use. LOVE JACKS, just don’t think 321 is optimal in my application.
