I honestly think K leonard is either dealing with mental issues that won’t allow him to push through his injuries or people close to him coddling him scared to force his hand so he remains happy. Either way this is clearly something the owner and coaching staff need to make a big boy decision on.

The Nets were humbled last year and now they’re treating the regular season more seriously . Clippers have been humbled before, in the bubble when they gave up a 3-1 lead to the Nuggets. And they STILL haven’t learned the importance of team chemistry. PG, how are you gonna say urgency starts now and not play the second game of a back to back? And Kawhi, enough of the load management BS. I see you dunking on players and blocking dudes like Embiid. Yea your knees are probably sore after an NBA game. Other players also got body issues too, but they play through it. Kawhi acting like he’s the only player in the NBA with knee issues. Come on. Urgency starts with the star players. Then only role players will follow suit. Norm ain’t getting paid like a superstar to be putting up 30 points a night.
Did he compare the Clippers to the Nets? They are not the same. I understand the sentiments, but this analysis lacks depth.

Back in the 1990s, players played harder but didn’t have a huge medical staff and advanced training. Today, these same doctors are telling their stars to keep sitting down while they have $176M contracts.
NBA is a joke. Michael Jordan played 9 seasons playing 82 games. Same with Wilt. If Clippers got 15 B2Bs next season, then expect Kawhi and PG to miss at least 15 games next year.
Having perfect attendance is no longer a badge of honor. Just sit around in street clothes because these athletes who are supposed to be faster and better are made out of glass.
We are already in Year 4 in this failed Kawhi & PG experiment and nothing so far. Will be nothing come April or May. Older. Slower. Can’t make shots. Can’t rebound or protect the paint. Never healthy or available.
Clippers have the hardest schedule remaining and are only 5-15 against teams above 500. They may not even hit 40 wins which is worse than 2018 and 2022 when we missed the playoffs.
I’m not saying to trade Kawhi or Paul George. We can keep them, Mann, Kennard, and Batum. But the rest, we really need to make a splash before the trade deadline and Mike Conley Jr. isn’t it.
I read a stupid Lakers blog laughing at the Clippers for wanting Conley. From LakerLife. They’re not wrong. Like the Fakers, there is always this hype with my Flippers after making a move. It gets hyped up as a brilliant move. Then it never pans out.
My Clippers were never the same after we traded Lou and PatBev. But Kawhi brought a poor load management culture that we are stuck with. We should’ve kept Hartenstein and never got Wall or kept Covington.
Go, Sacramento! While I have bets on the Warriors and Clippers to win the Pacific division as I currently have 63 open bets across the NFL and NBA, I’m personally rooting for Sacramento to do well. They’re a nice and surprising success story
