Many states are legalizing cannabis, in addition to addressing the legacy of marijuana prosecutions. NBC News’ Joshua Johnson is joined by South Carolina Rep. Nancy Mace who is sponsoring the “State’s Reform Act” a Republican-led bill to decriminalize the drug.

I have medical marijuana in Texas and I wish it was legal here because it cost me over $300 to get approved. I have had 15 kidney surgeries because the doctors thought my kidney was messed up but now I found out it was because I have a food allergy to nickel so now I have ptsd from all the surgeries I’ve had for no reason… very painful.

Yes let’s come together to decriminalize cannabis but let’s continue to NOT be UNITED like the “United States” that we are, Alabamas new medical cannabis bill requires multiple recommendations and to have tried prescription meds first,if a state doesn’t want particular people there then just start deporting us to different states like we Americans do to Mexicans, in the near future I see us divided even more then we are now
