Left my girls outside in a small greenhouse but it still got down to 10C in the past week and a half. They are covered with purple leaves and I will harvest this weekend (1/3 amber trics). Finally brought them inside, don’t wanna push my luck

I run my lights at night when its colder. They sleep during the day. Keeps the temperature even. Purple buds are pretty but I get better results with even temperature

I grow outdoors in the Mojave desert. The best solution for dealing with the heat for me has been to plant directly in the ground or bury my containers in the ground with their bottoms opened up. When it gets 110° + I used to have overwatering problems + heat stress in container plants. Cutting a large hole in the bottom of the pot & burying it solved both the heat & overwatering probs. Also gives the roots a bit more room to grow. Store bought potting soil loses moisture very rapidly in extreme heat, if you put an inch or so of regular dirt on top it will seal it up & not lose it nearly as quick.

I wonder why people still doubt natural herbs? 1 have seen the great importance of natural herbs and the wonderful work they have done in people’s lives. I wonder why people still spend their money on surgeries, injections, and medications every time they get sick. Natural herbs can cure all kinds of diseases, including, prostatitis, herpes, diabetics, asthma, cancer, hepatitis etc. I have seen it with my own eyes. I was cured of lung cancer, And my sister and her husband was also cured of irritable bowel syndrome by Dr. Apala who uses natural herbs to cure different types of illnesses. I know it’s hard to believe, but I am a living testimony. There is nothing wrong with trying herbs contact Dr Apala on YouTube and thank me later. email dr.apalaherbalhome@gmail.com OR WhatsApp+2349150342282…

So whilst flushing, it’s also beneficial to have a consistent dark period @ 16 degrees. Would the cold affect the flushing process at all?

  23. Nandodando on June 23, 2022 at 3:17 pm

16-17 celcius for the last 2 weeks to increase resin.

Does cold stress cause the plants stalks and stems to turn beet red?

  27. Eric Loyd on June 23, 2022 at 3:21 pm

  28. Patrick Mcmanus on June 23, 2022 at 3:22 pm

I have grown in the tropics for 40 years and even with months of 100f temps the plants thrive and grow to 15 feet and 16 feel across yielding 5 to 10 pounds dry. Also my area has the highest UV light in the world and very high humidity. The theory that these temps slow growth or damage are bro science.

  29. Peace Yo on June 23, 2022 at 3:23 pm

    So so smart…

  32. justis gruenfelder on June 23, 2022 at 3:26 pm

It also depends on what method you are using to grow this isn’t an absolute answer there are too many factors you can grow in the cold or heat out doors it just won’t be optimal not everyone has the privileges to grow indoors

  33. Eldra Barnes on June 23, 2022 at 3:27 pm

Do you low the potency of your lights by the last two weeks of flower?

  34. Oh 510 on June 23, 2022 at 3:27 pm

Would your plants ever droop from too much light? I’m in mid veg and decided to turn up my lights from 25% power to 75% and up until I did that I never had dropping issues. Could this possibly make my plants droop and wilt? From turning up too much at once?

  35. K X on June 23, 2022 at 3:29 pm

In Montana it has gotten down to 43 degrees Fahrenheit and the plants love it and survive well ..

  36. Gustavo Sykes on June 23, 2022 at 3:29 pm

I did get this because my lightbulb was too close. I moved it further away, watered more often. But the top leaves are getting worse. Only the top once. Bottom ones are perfect. New growth is looking nice green. Should I worry about the bad leaves or just leave them there

  37. Hara Kiri on June 23, 2022 at 3:29 pm

Do trichomes still develope if the temperature outside is low? Night 0 Celsius!!

  38. Norm Johnson on June 23, 2022 at 3:30 pm

Hmm, I grow outside in BC and 10c at night is pretty normal in spring and fall. My plants having been doing fine.

  39. Professor Finesser on June 23, 2022 at 3:33 pm

You realize that outdoor growers in northern california the temp drops 40-50f. Even lower sometimes.

  40. David Carpenter on June 23, 2022 at 3:34 pm

Hi. I’m going on vacation soon but my plants are in flower, is there any way I can slow the process for when I get back home ?

  42. Manuel Alejandro Murga Barajas on June 23, 2022 at 3:36 pm

Lex the trick is to put litlle pieces of ice like the ones in glass water only in the night the next day the plant will grow more trichomes. To make more trichomes the plant must be two day at dark and then make the cut.

  43. Shane Fowkes on June 23, 2022 at 3:36 pm

Iv finally got my tent, going to attempt some seeds iv got from buds I brought ages ago, hope these will make a good experiment

  44. Fatty McBastard on June 23, 2022 at 3:38 pm

I have a Crap King Revolver autoflower that was exhibiting signs of cold stress during our heat wave. No curling from heat stress whatsoever, but when it was 40 degrees Celsius in the early evening, and the sun tucked in behind our tree, casting shade on the plant, she’d wilt and cry about it. By 11 pm she looked like she was dead. By 5am, she’d be all perky, ready to face the blazing sun, and she’d remain perky in the direct sun during the heat of the day. Now that the heat wave is over, the plant remains perky when the shade hits her. She doesn’t even droop in these cooler temperatures overnight.

    Great video
    Thanks

  46. Nik Hayes on June 23, 2022 at 3:42 pm

You cant make a cultivar produce a color that isn’t already in its genetic history. Look at land races of hemp all across north America and you will see. Come winter some strains will color some will not. You cannot force color with cold, you can only bring out color that is there with cold, its the plants mechanism for dealing with the cold.

Im not finding the video I’m looking for about ending flower temps and light cycle

  48. Caderbavah Siddicl on June 23, 2022 at 3:44 pm

Thank u very much for all your very interesting video brother…

  49. Charles G on June 23, 2022 at 3:44 pm

I’ve seen people put bag’s of ice in the plant containers just to change the color.. as long as I have a good grow with no problems I’m happy.

  50. Jeff Jefferson on June 23, 2022 at 3:45 pm

Lowering the night time by that much. Having that much temperature change will make the plant very susceptible to rot. The dewpoint will go up that much, that there will be moisture in the buds causing them to rot.

Dont lower the night temperature that much if you cannot get rid of the moisture. And i am not convinced this will really not affect yield.

    Greetings,

    Jeff
