  7. CamTheCannaman on June 1, 2022 at 9:51 pm

real quick gotta say that calcium doesn’t help potassium uptake actually the opposite too much calcium can cause potassium lockout and too much potassium can cause calcium lockout just wanted to clear that up for the viewers

  8. The_Empiire on June 1, 2022 at 9:51 pm

I think a lot of people have calmag deficiency’s in veg and don’t even know it. And it really shows about the 3-5 week of flower. A little heads up, if your using fox farm grow big for veg, it contains 0% calcium, so if you don’t supplement with a calmag, you will run into issues of your big fan leaves dying off about the 3-5 week of flowering. If ANYONE tells you it’s normal to get yellowing during those weeks, they are full of shit.

You said um 74 times 😂🤣🏆

  10. Christian Gonzales on June 1, 2022 at 9:53 pm

U could have overwatered, keeping the roots from absorbing the nutrients. Making it seem like it’s lacking nutrients. then since it ran out of food the light will be too much for it creating too much light symptoms. Unless the calmag fixed it

This is a mag deficeincy if it were calcium the leaves would be rust spotting.

  36. andrewbee82 on June 1, 2022 at 10:27 pm

Hi man, I’ve got a question. I have a bag of dolomite like. It says on the label that 1gr/liter of soil (in pots) raise soil ph by 1 point. So 10 liter pots need 10 gr of dolomite to move ph from 6 to 7.
I’d like to understand if DL can raise ph over 7 or no metter how much you mix in the soil, max ph will always be 7 (neutral).
I want to provide calmag but I fear to mix too much and fuck up soil ph that is already a good 6.2
    Thanx

  37. Rowan Cody-Prentice on June 1, 2022 at 10:28 pm

Micronutrients are broken down macronutrients, cal mag provides the proper metal salts to up the e c so the biology can take up all the nutrients better , there cations that help with the exchange between micro biology and root

  47. Marcus Orillius on June 1, 2022 at 10:37 pm

That’s not magnesium or calcium deficiency. Maybe potassium and some phosphorus.

  48. chinga tu madre on June 1, 2022 at 10:38 pm

subscribed ive been having a cal mag deficiency for my last 2 runs i think i have gotten it from over watering so it caused a cal mag and my ph was getting 2 low heard they ph needs to be at 6.5 to absorb better anywyays im new to growing so i just go from what ever information i come across its so frustrating lol

  49. Bud Henry on June 1, 2022 at 10:39 pm

You can’t tell what deficiency it ready is from leafs. I have probably deficiency of magnesium and maybe some micros that looks exactly like a potassium deficiency. A 3 times too much of potassium sulfate was add to the soil before sowing. Leafs will tell you that something is wrong but you can’t tell what it is.

  50. amd65 65 on June 1, 2022 at 10:39 pm

How do you use cal mag for foliage spray ? I don’t want to mix a 1gl i just won’t mix up a 1 liter with advanced nutrients ?
