I smoke cannabis daily for my cervical spine injury and ptsd, BUT the stress I’m under just to smoke a joint in my own home for fear of legal retribution if cought.
Texas has got to replace our Gov and Lt. Gov IF they EVER want comprehensive cannabis treatment program without government intervention or dictarship by Law Enforcement agencies.

I can’t believe it is taking so long to legalize marijuana. The sheriffs don’t want to give it up because it is the big money maker for them. Maybe this year Texas will finally get with the program and stop putting people in jail for marijuana.

I’m a conservative living in Texas that thinks that marijuana is okay but let me tell you what I think the future text it will be because they are stubborn 49 states will Legalize It and the only state left out because they refuse to do it will be Texas and it will remain that way pretty much forever I mean my state is so stubborn when it comes to this that when they passed CBDs legal they broke their own law and confiscated and was forced to give it all back to stores

  33. Millionaires Mindstate on May 15, 2022 at 6:28 pm

Think about this. There is a cvs pharmacy on each block. Take maybe 50 of those and put dispensaries. You’ll see texas change and they’re scared 😅😂

  34. alex56816 on May 15, 2022 at 6:29 pm

  35. JReyes 28 on May 15, 2022 at 6:29 pm

Bruh they need to legalize marijuana already like tf is you doin tx??

  36. Seth O'Connor on May 15, 2022 at 6:30 pm

Someone that understands how laws are made please answer my question. In 2018 (roughly) 23% of Texas voter think that weed should be illegal in every aspect. So (roughly) 77% thinks it should be legal from medical to recreational. That’s clearly the majority of voters. If that’s the case shouldn’t the majority be the deciding factor? Why would the state government have control if it is legalized or not if majority of voter think it should be legal in some way or another? Obviously not every one who voted was in that poll, but with 77% shouldn’t the legislation just make it medical or even less restricted?

  38. SKULLY MACK on May 15, 2022 at 6:32 pm

Texas Republican Politicians are quite comfortable with the amount of money they collect from jailing mostly blacks and, hispanics for minor weed offenses and, getting the privatized jail kick back cash they set up long ago as well as, continuing their FAKE CHRISTIAN VALUES LIE (EVERY MINORITY FELON CREATED IS ONE LESS POTENTIAL DEMOCRATIC VOTER OF THE FUTURE)… Texans do not have the right to vote for themselves on the issue (IMAGINE THAT) which leaves it to the corrupt racist Republicans who are smoking as they please at the mansion daily. Surrounding legal states politicians are laughing at our elected fools all the way to the bank as they watch their weekend weed tourists pile in by the thousands to spend millions to enjoy what every state with a brain has now accepted…Texas Law Enforcement doesn’t seem to care one way or, the other about weed – They just do the job asked of them by these CLOWNS!

  39. Aaron Kamakaze on May 15, 2022 at 6:32 pm

I’m a Republican with more libertarian beliefs (like most young and modern republicans) and I am all in favor of legalization. Texas would benefit, and knowing our entrepreneurial spirit and our creativity we would easily become one of the best markets in the world to grow and purchase cannabis. Honestly these NEOCON GOP old farts need to get out of the way. Most republicans support legalization. This isn’t the GOP of the Bush era. We have evolved, and our politicians need to do so with us, or GTFO.

Tx medical marijuana is just in oil form and has to have less than 0.3 thc. The only PERSON who can get it are epileptics

  44. The Diggem on May 15, 2022 at 6:43 pm

How do we stop talking about it and do it? The majority of the population wants it. It’s legal to be an alcoholic or a prescription pill popper. It’s totally ok to be strung out on Xanax as long as you have a prescription. How do we actually do something?

FYI , In texas we are not allowed to vote on Bill’s. The people we put into office are the ones that vote for us. TX will be the very last state because of our Senate.

  48. Marleyboy on May 15, 2022 at 6:48 pm

I wonder… If this ever gets legalized for recreational use. And let’s say you smoke Friday or Saturday night (like drinking beer with friends),go back to work on Monday. Knowing it stays in your system longer than beer. Wont there be a lot of people out of jobs?

  49. Zombie Panda on May 15, 2022 at 6:49 pm

I can think of two reasons why Texas doesn’t want to legalize weed one is because we are close to the Border and two is because this guy probably still believes in President Nixon’s lies

  50. E. P. on May 15, 2022 at 6:50 pm

If it don’t happen, me,my family and my business’s OUT of Texas.
